When I entered the 2006 60 day contest, I had a couple of goals in mind. First off, I had lost 39 pounds since the day after Christmas, 2005. This all needed to be firmed up, as well as I needed to work at losing the remaining 20 pounds. Though the pounds had been coming off at a really good rate, I didn’t want to end up with hanging skin and no muscle tone.
I was also having some problems with my back when I was on my feet for a long while and hoped that T-tapp might help this problem. And I needed a workout that would take less time than going to the Fitness Center six days a week. I wanted this to be the last time that I would have to lose weight, so needed a program for maintenance.
In March, I started adding T-tapp principles to my Fitness Center workouts, which were mostly cardio. In April, I added Instructional 1 and Basic Workout Plus. When the contest started I had been adding in Instructional 2 and had done Beginner Rehab a few times.
On June12th, I dropped the weight training workouts at the Fitness Center, but continued using the treadmill. I also walked outside and used my elliptical at home. I knew that I still needed cardio to burn fat and drop more pounds; at least I always had in the past. Now the contest has come to an end. My back is wonderful!
I did find that doing T-Tapp consistently increased my appetite. I had decided back in December that I would not be hungry as I have in diet programs in times past. Some of my food choices in the past eight weeks have not been the greatest so my weight has actually gone up one pound. In spite of this, I have lost 8 inches (from the areas we measured for the contest)during the past 60 days.
I am very happy with my results. At age 62, I am almost to my goal, though now it may not be a weight goal, but rather a fitness goal. I may not need to lose 20 more pounds. When I get there I will know. Thanks to T-Tapp I am much healthier, and expect to remain that way. Thank you, Teresa.
