Combo - leaning towards Long Torso
Do you ever wonder why things happen when they do? I am a person of faith and trust that all things happen for a reason and always for the best. This is my story and how T-Tapp helped to change my life.
I first learned of T-Tapp in the spring of 2001 through the Weight Watchers online forums. I had joined Weight Watchers for the second time in my life trying to lose weight after the birth of my third child. I came across a post that mentioned T-Tapp and how it complimented the Weight Watchers program. I visited the website eager to find a solution to my weight loss battle. I ordered the total system in May 2001. I am embarrassed to admit they sat collecting dust until late August of that year. I began a 14 day boot camp during our family trip to Disney World during September, 2001. I was shocked and amazed by the results I was beginning to see! My torso began to really cinch and tighten.
I joined the T-Tapp forums and gathered information and motivation. I purchased an entire library of T-Tapp workouts/videos! I am a self-proclaimed T-Tapp Workout Junkie! I attended the Boston T-Tapp clinic in April of 2002 to get a chance to workout with Teresa herself, unfortunately due to schedule conflicts she was unable to do the clinic but Lani ran the clinic in her place. I learned quite a bit at the clinic and went away with a new appreciation of the workout!
I continued to T-Tapp on and off for awhile until I started to have severe health issues. I became too weak and fatigued to do the workouts. I also discovered that I had a lump on my Thyroid. I went to my Primary Care Physician with my concerns. I was finally diagnosed with Hypothyroidism or Hashimotos. I had struggled most of my life with a variety of symptoms such as fatigue, issues with sleep, weight gain, abnormal menstrual cycles, depression, irritability, intolerance to cold, hair loss, muscle weakness, and a variety of other symptoms. I knew I had a thyroid issue all of my life but when tested, my blood levels were never out of the range doctors consider normal. I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer after two biopsies of the lump on my thyroid and had a complete thyroidectomy on March 3, 2003. I did not require radiation post-surgery because they did not find cancer in any of the surrounding lymph nodes. I believe that T-Tapp may have had something to do with that since it is so lymphatically draining. After my surgery, I gained considerable weight. I tried several different endocrine doctors until I finally found one that would work with me to find a dose of medication that worked with my body. Even after finding a dose of medication that worked, it took quite awhile before I started to feel well enough and strong enough to begin working out again.
After giving birth to my 4th child I decided to renew my resolve to become fit and healthy once and for all. In February of 2006 I completed a 14 day boot camp and faithfully worked out every other day for two months until I became sick. I was regrettably knocked off course. I joined the Weight Watchers at Work program on May 1, 2006 and lost 17.2 pounds before starting the 60 Day Challenge. The contest came just when I had vowed to win my battle with health and fitness and ended on August 12, 2006 the date of a family wedding I was to attend and wanted to look fabulous. The contest could not have come at a better time! This was a sign that I can do this. Yes I Can!
T-Tapp is the only program that has given me results. My pants size has fluctuated between 18W -22W since high school. My weight has fluctuated between 200- 240 lbs. I resigned myself to the fact that I would just have to live with the extra weight and inches forever. I am proud to say that I am now a loose 14/ tight 12 and I am under 200 pounds for the first time in a long time! The inches are coming off slowly now, but the energy and strength I have gained are very motivating and sustaining for someone who lives with Hypothyroidism. I truly believe T-Tapp came into my life at a time I needed it most and has changed my life for the better!
