When I discovered T-Tapp, my first thought was, "This would be a good way to look better for two of my children's upcoming weddings!" You know, a quick fix so that I wouldn't be so embarrassed to squeeze into a size 22W to walk down the aisle in front of people I hadn't seen in a long time. I read the success stories and they gave me a glimmer of hope but I was still doubtful as to whether T-Tapp could really change THIS body.

I'm the 47-year-old mother of twelve children, ages 1-25, and over the years I had given up hoping that I could lose weight or get in shape because I was so busy with my family. Dieting takes a lot of emotional energy and I just didn't have any to spare. But shortly after I began tapping I felt so much better and got such encouraging results that it was no longer all about looking good for a special event. I realized that I needed and deserved to look and feel my best for me and for my family in the years ahead. I was very overweight and totally out of shape so it was hard to face the truth and look at myself in the mirror every day while wearing workout clothes. Within days of beginning Basic Workout Plus I had more energy, lost my constant craving for sweets, lost inches, and resolved blood sugar issues. By the time the 60-Day Challenge began, I had lost 36", 2 sizes, and 12 pounds in 10 weeks!

During the 60-Day Challenge I faced many obstacles. On the very first day I went for a walk in new shoes and came home with huge, broken blisters on both heels that took weeks to heal. I carefully applied bandages and kept tapping. A few days later we went on a family vacation to a lake cabin (13 of us!). My T-Tapp DVDs went with me. A week later my son got married (and I cooked and served a rehearsal dinner for 70 people). Two weeks later my nephew got married (and four of my children were in the wedding). The last month of the Challenge was spent preparing and sewing for my daughter's wedding, which took place three days after the contest ended. Meanwhile, I ran a busy household with eight children still at home, got up at night with little ones and changed at least 240 diapers. I'm living proof that even the busiest person can fit in T-Tapp and get results!

One of the biggest hurdles I faced as a More to Lose person was learning to appreciate how far I had come instead of focusing on how far I had yet to go in reaching my goal size. The online forum and online classes with Lani and then Michelle really encouraged and educated me. I read Fit and Fabulous over and over, sometimes reading the success stories, sometimes studying the finer points of moves. I learned that I kept better form and had less fatigue if I did fewer repetitions on some of the moves in Beginner/Rehab, and I gradually added reps as I was able. On off-days I went for walks using T-Tapp principles or short bike rides through the neighborhood with my children. Around the time of the weddings I missed several days, but I just started back up when I was able. Almost every day I used the CRT brushing system and my skin continues to tighten up as I lose inches, which is truly amazing to me. During the Challenge I lost 18 inches, one size and 15 pounds! As a 5'10" Combo, I'm now wearing a size 16W, which I haven't worn in 18 years. Meanwhile, friends and family began to notice the changes in me. By the end of the contest, eight family members and three friends had begun T-Tapping! Several of them meet every night at 10:00 p.m. to do the Basic Workout together--how fun is that?!

I would L-O-V-E to win the Challenge! Not only would I love the opportunity to work with trainers and receive some hard-earned pampering at the spa, I would be absolutely, totally excited to meet Teresa Tapp in person. Every time I try to talk about what this workout has done for me I end up in tears. My body is changing in so many positive ways and I am no longer sedentary and tired all of the time. I feel graceful and flexible instead of stiff and creaky. I don't dread getting older because I'm getting better. And I'm not embarrassed about the way I look because I'm not just thinner, I'm toned and tightened. I would love to shake Teresa's hand, look her in the eye, and say "Yes I can and I AM!"
