60 Day Challenge - 2007
Category Winner
Less to Lose / Health Improvement

Marna S.
Short Torso

My T-Tapp journey began in January 2007, after hearing Teresa Tapp explain her exercise philosophy on a radio interview. When I heard the key words "lymphatic system", I was instantly intrigued and knew I had to try it. Previously, I had read about how a sluggish lymphatic system could be the cause of cellulite. I had tried to address this problem mainly through diet in the past, but found that to be too restrictive. I decided that if this problem could be solved by doing key exercises with proper form, that would be the answer to my struggles with cellulite and weight. So, I immediately ordered the T-Tapp DVD's and was on my way to a better body with T-Tapp.

By the time the challenge started in May, my measurements had already gone down and then up again from when I started in January. However, I found that once my form was analyzed and I tweaked certain things (like keeping the knees out KLT), the inches came off again. Being a short-torso body type, I've been concentrating on the torso area, abdomen and waist. I've been doing alot of putting the organs in place and dry-brushing twice daily. When I incorporated the CRT Skin Tightening System, I really started to notice a difference in the tone and texture of my skin in the problem areas (legs and stomach). I've had 3 children over the past 16 years and recently lost a lot of weight by doing weight training and cardio. Needless to say, my stomach area really had a lot of loose skin. Although I still have some work to do in this area, it's tightened up considerably and there is much less loose skin there.

I've discovered many ways to sneak T-Tapp principles into my daily routine, like doing KLT while walking, taking extra stairs, pushing a grocery cart, and putting on my make-up. I've even started to do the deep breathing (inhale and exhale) while driving. I'm working on squeezing the ribcage in to reduce the barrel chest. These are all simple ways to use N.E.T. time (no extra time) to make the most of a busy schedule. T-Tapp is great in that one does not need to be obsessive by exercising for hours every day and being overly restrictive with the diet. In fact, I was on vacation during the last 2 weeks of the challenge. I tried to work out when I could, and I still had my share of birthday cake, wine, etc. Despite this, the inches still came off.

By nature, I am an analytical type and have the need to understand why things are so. Everything I've heard Teresa talk about has made sense to me. When all the pieces fit together so nicely and finally made sense to me, it all clicked. With Teresa's explanation of the body types, I finally understood why I've always had such a barrel chest. When I heard her describe about how blood type and ethnicity relates to cellulite, that also rang true for me. I am so thrilled and hopeful that know there is a way to address and correct things that have plagued me for a long time about my body. It's all about adding a few simple but key things into my daily habits. Knowledge is power...What a relief!

No exercise or diet plan I've tried before had so thoroughly explained things and yet was so easy to follow. T-Tapp is what I've been searching for my whole life. I can finally have my cake and eat it too! I feel so relieved to have the T-Tapp "secrets" in my arsenal against the battle of the bulge. I am convinced that T-Tapp really is the workout that works. Thanks, Teresa!
