T-Tapp MORE Category

Sandra C.

I was introduced to T-Tapp by my hairdresser in October 2007. I could hardly wait until I got home to look on the website. After devouring the success stories, I ordered the MORE workout (since I have more candles on the cake, more to lose – and haven't worked out in years). I anxiously awaited its arrival, but when it came I was hesitant to start. Finally, I began the first part of November, hoping to lose a lot by Christmas. I did lose some inches, but didn't eat very well, so I wasn't into a different size by Christmas. I vowed to restart after our Christmas travels, but after getting home I found "a million" reasons (excuses) not to get started again. When I did start, it was half-heartedly.

Since October I have told everyone about T-Tapp. Ladies in my weight loss class got interested after our leader (a nurse) looked into it and raved about its many positive and healthful benefits. They repeatedly asked me to demonstrate Hoe Downs – said I looked "cute" doing them. (How kind of them. I really doubt if cute was the word!)

I told my daughter about T-Tapp as soon as I learned of it, but she didn't really look into it until she visited in March and I showed her the "Yes You Can" DVD. She was immediately hooked, went home and ordered several workouts. She also started talking about the 60-Day Challenge – how we should do it together for encouragement, and if we both won, how exciting that would be! I hadn't been "on track" for a long time and knew I would have several major interruptions to deal with during the Challenge time period. Would I have time or would "life" interfere? She kept coaxing until I finally agreed.

I was in Texas for two weeks moving my parents into assisted living, and when I returned I served on jury duty, but I was able to do the workout most days – it was encouraging to have an exciting goal. I didn't follow a very sensible diet during the Challenge, so all inches lost can definitely be attributed to T-Tapping.

During the Challenge I lost 14.5 inches. I feel better for sure! Over the years I've had lots of lower back pain and just stiffness in general. Lately I've realized that my back feels better and I'm not so stiff when I get up from a sitting position. I believe that T-Tapp is strengthening all my muscles that were so out of shape and that back pain will be a thing of the past. I also have diabetes and find that the Hoe Downs are a tremendous help in controlling my blood sugar. I didn't enter for health improvement – but it is happening! I look forward to continuing now that the Challenge is over and gaining more health benefits and losing more inches.

Why would I like to be the winner? Well, I've pretty much never won anything, so it would be exciting to be rewarded along with the inch loss. I think it would be a great encouragement to keep me going in the days ahead, looking forward to the Retreat. It would be fun to be in Florida and meet all the other participants and see their accomplishments. It will be especially neat to meet Teresa in person and benefit from her enthusiasm and energy. Also, my daughter and I thought it would be neat to win and get to go together, since we've never had a "girls' vacation" together since she's been an adult. Our husbands hunt and fish together all the time, but we have never had our own little vacation.

Of course, we'd both like to win the Challenge, but in so many ways we've already won by losing some inches and becoming more disciplined to make regular exercise a priority in our lives. I'm thankful my daughter was so persistent – today I'm 60 days closer to having the body I'd like to have than I would have been otherwise. Actually, winning the Challenge would be "frosting on the cake!"
