Runner Up

Theresa D.
First of all, I want to thank Teresa for giving all of us Tappers the incentive and opportunity to participate in this 60-Day Challenge...and I want to send out a big thank you to Kitty for making the Challenge a reality by working so diligently to review all of our entries! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!!!
I am thrilled with the results that I have had on this 60-Day Challenge! I have definitely had inch loss...but the “extra” benefits I have had are a wonderful bonus to me.
I went into this 60-Day Challenge wanting to shake things up a bit. My ending measurements from last year’s Challenge were basically my starting measurements for this year’s Challenge. But thanks to T-Tapp, I did not go much above my ending measurements throughout the year! Yeah!
I entered the Ladybug and Health Categories for this Challenge for basically two reasons. I still have some residual cervical issues from an old injury that I wanted to see more improvement on...as well as some beginning hormonal issues as I approach my mid-40’s. Let me tell you, I got more than I bargained for in this Challenge!
My intended improvements:
* Improvement in Cervical Issues from past Injury
* Hormonal Corrections
My actual improvements:
* Posture Correction which helps the cervical issues
* Cramps, bloating, irritability have diminished to almost non-existent with menstrual cycle (this has actually been the best two months in a LONG time); plus some predictability now.
* I lost 8 pounds (you cannot imagine what a feat this is for me)!
*“Love handles” have cinched in more.
* Thunder thighs are not thundering as much! My legs have definitely thinned! Yeah for floor work…not something that I was particularly fond of before these 60 days.
* Flatter abs (I no longer have to do an exercise routine just to zip my jeans shut)!
* Lowered blood pressure (totally unexpected)!!! My resting blood pressure has been hovering around 150/95 the last few months, and the doctor has been threatening to put me on medication. For the last four weeks, my resting blood pressure has been holding at 120/78! No medication for me thank you!
* My cholesterol is down to 161 from a previous level of 189 six months ago.
* Lower SI discomfort has resolved.
* People are actually noticing the changes (and commenting)…great for my self-esteem!
* Much more energy and better sleep.
My summary to all of this is that T-Tapp, as I have read on the boards so many times, is progressive. It does not matter how long we have been Tapping, we can always challenge ourselves to a higher level. For some reason I never did my Ladybug DVD even though I owned it, but the change in routine allowed additional changes to occur inwardly and outwardly. Added focus to any routine, or even just a change-up like I did, can definitely bring about additional improvements!
I am proud to be a T-Tapp advocate and definitely motivated to spread the word! |
