FAQ

Can I mix and match T-Tapp Workouts throughout the duration of the challenge?
Yes, you can use whichever workout(s) that you want to use and even add in extra specific moves throughout the day and/or challenge as you like.

Can I do extra Hoe Downs during the course of the day?
Yes, you can do as many sets of Hoe Downs as desired.

I play different sports, can I still do them and be entered?
If you are on a team and have an obligation then please just note it in your essay. If you are NOT on a team and thus not obligated to doing the sport, we would ask that you refrain from it for the duration of the challenge.

If I can walk with any category, does that mean that I can use Step Away the Inches, Step it to the Max and/or Leslie Sansone Walking Workout or other commercial workouts with any category?
You may not use ANY commercial workout except T-Tapp walking workouts - Step Away the Inches and/or Step It To The Max. You can - as previously stated - use a treadmill or walk outside. The purpose of this challenge is to see your results from doing T-Tapp workouts.

Where is the entry form? I can't find it.

In the meantime, please thoroughly review the rules. There is an example of what your entry should look like here.

I don't understand why I can't do other exercises during this program.
The purpose of this challenge is to see your results using ONLY T-Tapp. While many people enjoy doing multiple programs, sometimes this can be detrimental to your actual results.

Case in Point... a columnist wanted to do a 30 day makeover with T-Tapp and write about it in her syndicated column. She shared with me that she had spent a full year doing Yoga, Pilates, swimming, other classes and basically starving herself and had managed to go from a tight size 8 to a loose size 8. I explained to her that T-Tapp is different and that she would see very fast inch loss results with it but she needed to ONLY do T-Tapp for those 30 days and oh by the way she didn't need to starve herself either. She argued with me for quite some time and my response was that if she was going to WRITE about her results with T-Tapp in 30 days then it wasn't fair for her to interfere with the results by utilizing other programs. After a lot of grumbling on her part, she finally agreed to do it that way and stop everything else for 30 days but she wanted to make sure that I understood that she is a "class person" and would be going right back to all of her classes as soon as the 30 days were over. Interestingly enough, after about the first 10 days I got an email from her saying that she couldn't believe the results that she was already seeing and by the end of the 30 days she had gone from her loose size 8 to a size 4 and she even had desserts! Needless to say she didn't need to go back to her regular aerobic classes!

Please do NOT use a rebounder (trampoline), rowing machine or any other equipment or exercise machines during this challenge besides a treadmill or elliptical machine (both are a form of walking).

The point that we are making here is to try the challenge using ONLY with T-Tapp and see what you get. We think you will be extremely pleased. More exercise and even a variety of exercise is NOT always better -- especially when you are trying to lose.

Do I need to do a Boot Camp to kick off the contest? How many days in a row do I do it? How many times a week do I need to workout?
These are all personal decisions and completely up to you to decide. You can do whatever works for you during this challenge in terms of how often, etc.

Why can't I wear more modest clothing for the before/after photos?
The purpose of this contest is to get results and for Teresa to be able to actually SEE your problem areas in the before/after photos, you must be willing to pose for the photos in clothing that is fitted and shows those areas. We totally understand that not everyone can/will do that so this contest may not the best choice for everyone.

Why do I have to pose with a newspaper in a photo? Can I use a magazine or something printed out online?
You must use a newspaper dated Tuesday, April 10, 2012. We understand that not every small city has a daily newspaper but most all of them do get USA Today or the NY Times and you have enough time to plan to insure that you have the newspaper when it is time to take the photos. It is NOT okay to pose with anything other than a newspaper and you will not be confirmed in the contest if you don't follow the rules. The reason for this is to show when you took the photos. If there is absolutely no way that you can use a newspaper, please contact Kitty Eatherly at Kitala@aol.com and it is possible that we can
work something out but please don’t count on that.

What if I want to do the contest but don't want to allow you the use of my photos/information?
Then you cannot enter the contest. Many times, people on the forum who don’t want to officially enter the contest, will do an unofficial version where you can cheer each other on - just with no prizes. Another option is to take your own before/after photos and do the challenge unofficially by yourself. The truth is that Teresa is very generous with the prizes that she offers the winners, but this is also our way of keeping new, up to date success stories that we can use on our website and to pitch the media. New success stories help to keep our clients motivated and inspired.

Can non US residents enter the challenge?
Yes.

If a non US resident is the Grand Prize Winner, will Teresa still cover the flight?
Yes she will up to a specific amount - just be sure you have an active passport.

What if there is no way to attend the retreat if I do win due to very young children? Are there alternate prizes available?
There will likely be alternate prizes in the form of T-Tapp dollars to use if you are a winner and can’t attend the retreat. We do understand the issue of having young children, however other moms in this same situation have been able to make it work to attend weekend and longer retreats by asking for help from their husband, families and friends. Sometimes their husbands have even taken off work to support their wife that has worked so hard to win something like this. We know that it sometimes seems impossible, but do some networking on the forums with other moms who have been in this situation and figured out a way to claim their prize. The value of having this time with Teresa and other T-Tappers in person is beyond anything you can imagine so do your best to attend if you can.

I don't know which category to enter. Can you help me decide based on my specific issues?
No, we cannot help you decide which category to enter for this challenge. We have been very specific about what we consider the qualifications for each category. Please read all the category descriptions and make the decision that is right for you.

I don't know what my body type is. Can you help me figure it out?
Yes, we can.  First you will need to take your measuremetns for Rib to Hip, Hip to Knee and Knee to Ankle as outlined in Teresa Tapp's book Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes on page 62.  Once you have those measurements, you can call or email the T-Tapp office at info@t-tapp.com and a member of our staff will be happy to help you.
