Kitty loves handling these challenges but there are a lot of components to keep track of and it is very time consuming. If you have a question, please check the FAQ section and see if that answers it before you contact Kitty to ask. We have been doing these challenges for years and have pretty much covered the gamut in the FAQ section and all the rules are there for a reason and we appreciate you following them.

Blueprint Blood Work - Additional Category
Blueprint Blood Work is an option you can add to ANY 60-Day Challenge category. This option will require you to purchase and print your blood work prescription from My Med Lab and get your blood work done from a local lab of your choice. A copy of your blood work needs to be submitted at the beginning of the 60-Day Challenge (no later than April 12th) and again at the end (no later than June 12th). Although, there is a cost to partake in the Blueprint Blood Work opportunity, Teresa will rebate up to $200.00 T-Tapp Dollars that you can use for future purchase of any T-Tapp Products of your choice through December 2012.
Please note: The rebate is allowed for those who completely finish the 60-Day Challenge (ie - final essay, pictures and copy of blood work panels done at beginning and end of the Challenge). This is a great opportunity to tune into your health and see why T-Tapp is referred to as "More Than A Workout"!
My Med Lab has set up a special baseline panel with a special price so T-Tappers can get the same tests offered in a comprehensive physical for only $75 (reg $99) -click here to see full breakdown: General Health Screen. To get started with your Blueprint Blood Work go here: https://www.mymedlab.com/60-day-challenge/step-one-60-day-challenge?show_all=
What to Expect Doing Blueprint Blood Work
Before you order your 60-Day Challenge baseline panel, My Med Lab has a series of questions for you to answer to help you see and prioritize if there are any other health concerns you might choose to monitor. The choices are for Diabetes, Bone, Vitamin, Hormone, Heart, Iron and Thyroid. Once the survey is completed, My Med Lab will list other more advanced panels that you can add on, if desired, by level of priority according to the way you responded to the survey. These more advanced panels are each an additional $99.00. For those of you familiar with blood work, THAT is a fantastic price! However, please note that whatever panel(s) you decide to do at the beginning of the challenge will also be required to complete again at the end of the challenge. The cost will be the same at the beginning of the challenge as it is at the end of the challenge. Meaning, you will need to order your Baseline Blood Work and any other additional tests first in April and again in June.
Teresa will rebate each person's actual cost ($75 x 2) up to $200 in T-Tapp Dollars, if they choose to participate in Blueprint Blood Work...and IF you happen to be chosen as a category winner, Teresa will rebate the entire cost!!
How Will Blueprint Blood Work Effect the T-Tapp 60-Day Challenge Winners
As always, one winner will be chosen from each category of the 60-Day Challenge and sometimes runner-ups. However, anyone who submits a panel or panels from My Med Lab, will be also be placed into an additional category called Blueprint Blood Work. Additional winner(s) will be chosen from this Blueprint Blood Work category!
How to Participate in the Blueprint Blood Work Option
If you decide to participate in the Blueprint Blood Work option. Purchase and print your blood work panel prescription from My Media Lab. Send the receipt for your purchase to the following 2 email addresses: Kitala@aol.com and info@ttapp.com. Get your blood work done at the beginning of the challenge (no later than April 12) and again at the end (no later than June 12th) Once received, a confirmation email will be send to you - if you do not email your receipt, the T-Tapp Office will not place you in the Blueprint Blood Work category.
Here is where you go to start the process for your blood work: https://www.mymedlab.com/60-day-challenge/step-one-60-day-challenge?show_all=
*HEALTH IMPROVEMENT: If you enter one of the categories that includes health improvements, please be sure and list all your health issues in your entry where it says Health Improvemtns so that we know, going in, what areas you are looking for improvement in. Relief of pain or chronic pain or illnesses would be included in this category. If you are NOT entering a Health Improvement Category please just put N/A in the space where it asks for that.

CHALLENGE ENTRY RULES
To enter this challenge, please go to www.t-tapp.com/challenge2011, read the rules and instructions entirely, and enter the information requested in the proper place on the Challenge Entry Form page.
When you upload your all your beginning information on the form, press EDIT at the bottom of the page and the submission form will tell you that it has been uploaded successfully. If you do NOT get that message once you press edit than it did not go through. The most common cause of it not going through is the photo size is too large. Try resizing your photos and submitting again. If you still can’t get it to upload successfully, contact Kitty at Kitala@aol.com. Even after you get a SUCCESSFUL message after uploading Kitty still has to verify your information and make sure that everything is there and correct (photos not sideways or horizontal and all measurements are there, etc.) Once your information has been verified as being correct, you will receive a confirmation email from Kitty (kitala@aol.com) saying that you are confirmed in the Challenge. Kitty tries to go through this ASAP but please be patient and don’t email her to see IF she has received your entry - you know that it is in there if you received a SUCCESSFUL update. If, for some reason, you do not receive a confirmation email within 1 week, please do email Kitty at kitala@aol.com and make sure that your entry didn’t somehow go awry.

Photographs (total of 5 beginning and 5 ending)
Photographs should be uploaded to the site and must follow the Photograph Rules (see instructions below). If they are done incorrectly (bad lighting, horizontal instead of vertical, etc.) you will be asked to resubmit.
You will need to include the following photographs:
1. One photo of you holding a NEWSPAPER. Newspaper MUST be from the starting date of the challenge and must be facing forward for the photo. Most rural towns get USA Today and/or NY Times and those can be used instead of a local newspaper. If, for any reason, you do not have access to a newspaper, please email me at Kitala@aol.com and we will figure something out.
2. 1 Photo of you FULL LENGTH* FRONT
3. 1 Photo of you FULL LENGTH* RIGHT SIDE
4. 1 Photo of you FULL LENGTH* LEFT SIDE
5. 1 Photo of you FULL LENGTH* BACK
*FULL LENGTH means HEAD TO TOE. Do NOT submit photos with your head or feet cut out of the photo.
**All photos should be taken VERTICALLY. This seems to be the most confusing for everyone so we attempt to explain it better. Normally we hold a camera in such a way that the flash for the camera is on TOP of the camera with the bulk of the body of the camera being horizontal- this leaves quite a bit of extraneous space on either side of you in the photo. Instead, turn the camera to your right (or left) where the flash is to one side rather than being on the top of the camera. This will allow you to take your photos vertically per the requirement.
PHOTOGRAPH RULES
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN BE DISQUALIFIED OR ASKED TO RETAKE ANY/ALL OF YOUR PHOTOS IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DON’T FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
PLEASE take pictures and measurements on the following dates. There are no exceptions for the date the photos must be taken.
Tuesday, April 10, 2012 – Beginning Sunday, June 10, 2012 – Ending
Although photos and measurements must be taken on these dates, you do have 2 days to get them uploaded on the site meaning that they must be uploaded by:
Thursday, April 12, 2012 – Beginning Tuesday, June 12, 2012 – Ending
Please note that the ability to upload beginning and ending photos and information will be removed at midnight Pacific Time on Thursday, April 12, 2012 and Tuesday, June 12, 2012 respectively. Extensions for uploading information will be made on a case by case situation. Please email Kitty at Kitala@aol.com ASAP if you will have trouble with the actual due date. Example - you are camping with no Internet service - you CAN still take the photos (you can take your camera anywhere or use a camera phone if all else fails) but you CAN’T actually upload them by the due date. An extension can be granted for this worked out between you and Kitty.
All photographs must be named properly before submitting them online. Please follow these instructions:
Name your photos with your First Name, Last Name and Angle. Make sure there are NO spaces in your file name or the photo will not upload properly.
For example (of course you would use your own name):
- TeresaTapp-Newspaper
- TeresaTapp-Front
- TeresaTapp-Right
- TeresaTapp-Left
- TeresaTapp-Back
NO SPACES IN THE FILE NAME PLEASE!
If the photos are not named properly when submitted, you will be asked to resubmit them as named files.
All photographs MUST be taken vertically rather than horizontally. This seems to be the most confusing for everyone so we attempt to explain better. Normally we hold a camera in such a way that the flash for the camera is on TOP of the camera with the bulk of the body of the camera being horizontal- this leaves quite a bit of extraneous space on either side of you in the photo. INSTEAD, turn the camera to your right (or left) where the flash is to one side or the other rather than being on the top of the camera. THIS will allow you to take your photos vertically per the requirement.
Please also have the person taking the photograph frame it where the photo is as close of you as possible while still including you head to toe. Make sure that the photos are clear, with plenty of light and upright when you send them. If the photos are dark, blurry or grainy then we can’t use them and you will not be confirmed in the challenge. If the photos are not upright when submitted, you will be asked to resubmit them until they are upright.
PLEASE stand normally in your photos. Do NOT stand in the KLT position or with your arms out to your side rather than down for your pictures – again, these are pictures that will be used for promotional/marketing purposes if you win and we need you to stand in a normal stance - not slouchy - just upright with your arms down by your side and your palms how you would normally hold them.
PLEASE face the direction of the picture – in other words do NOT look back over your shoulder if it is a rear shot, do not look to the camera if it is a side shot. This changes the alignment of your body and can misrepresent some areas of concern making them look more or less than they really are.
PLEASE save a copy of all pictures and measurements on your computer, CD ROM or flash drive for your own records.
PLEASE wear form-fitting clothing in your pictures –workout wear is preferred (or swimsuits if you like). Regular clothing usually CAMOUFLAGES your problem areas rather than accentuating them - at least that is how most people select their everyday clothing. We need to see the problem areas. Please submit pictures that SHOW what you are trying to lose, define, firm up, etc. If this is a problem for you, then perhaps you should rethink entering the challenge. Wearing one color head to toe with no skin showing makes it VERY difficult to see anything so check your clothing in a mirror to make sure that it shows what you want it to show in terms of where you want to lose or prior to taking the photos for entry - try on several outfits and photograph them to see if they show what you want to lose. It is also helpful - but not necessary - if you wear something sleeveless. Sweat pants, loose yoga pants, baggy t-shirts are NOT good choices for this and may disqualify you. Remember that choosing the correct clothing allows you the best chance of winning as the contrasting photos will show the most difference if you can see the problem areas in the beginning photo and where you have lost in the ending photos. We know it is scary to take a photo when you aren’t happy with the way you look but just use this as inspiration to do your best during the challenge and look forward to seeing the results.
PLEASE send each photo with a high resolution (quality/largest pixel possible). If we ever need your photos for anything the higher the resolution we have, the better the photo.
PLEASE submit ALL pictures in JPEG format.
PLEASE take the “after” pictures in the same outfit EVEN IF YOU HAVE LOST TOO MUCH. For some reason this seems to be a difficult rule for people to follow. If your clothing is so large it is falling off of you, please take two sets of photos - one in the same starting outfit and then a second set in a more fitted outfit. Please put a note to me that you did this in the Comments section on the form and I will have you email me the photos in a different outfit and include everything for Teresa when judging. It is much more effective and visual that way.
If, for any reason, we can't use the photos sent we will ask for new ones and keep both on file to prove you entered on the correct date.

FINAL ESSAY
A final “essay” about your experience during the Challenge must be submitted with your final entry by Tuesday, June 12, 2012. This would include any changes in your body that you noticed, any health improvements you made and why you would like to be the winner. There is no set length that you have to have on the essay. It can be as short or long as you like.

ADDITIONAL RULES TO KEEP IN MIND
PLEASE do not email Kitty or the T-Tapp office to ask if we have received your information. As previously stated, you will be an upload successful notice on the form page when your information goes through. Then, you will receive a confirmation from Kitty once she has verified that everything in your entry is correctly submitted. If you have not heard from Kitty by 1 week after the ending of submission time, please email her at Kitala@aol.com. You will NOT be penalized for this and will, at that time, be asked to resubmit your information. PLEASE be patient as there are usually well over 300 entries for these challenges.
PLEASE put your full name in any/all correspondence with Kitty for this challenge. Again, we receive hundreds of entries for this challenge and it is time consuming to try to cross reference an email address to find out who it is communicating with us so put your full name (first and last) in the BODY of the email.
PLEASE decide which category you need to enter yourself. We can't determine that for you.
PLEASE download and fax or email the waiver to the T-Tapp office ASAP. If you are not willing to have us use your pictures, inches lost (NO we will not use your measurements – just amount lost in each place), first name and last initial as well as city/state in which you reside – do not enter this challenge. This waiver must be received in the T-Tapp office by Monday, April 23, 2012 or you will be disqualified.
PLEASE do not ask the T-Tapp Office Staff to make exceptions for any of the rules. If you have an issue, please ask Kitty about it directly. You can email her at Kitala@aol.com or call her at 210.663.7025. The reason for this is that Kitty is the one coordinating everything and needs to have notes on everything. You can feel free to contact the T-Tapp Staff at 877.TAPP.FIT to utilize your free customer service with any workout related question throughout this challenge.
PLEASE keep a log of your workouts – this is for your benefit so that if you need to call the office or ask a trainer anything specific about your results you can answer any questions that they may have. You will usually not be asked for this log.
You CAN workout with Teresa, a T-Tapp Trainer, online T-Tapp class and/or attend a trainer run clinic while in this challenge. Just note that you did so in your final essay so that we know. Our intention with this challenge is not to keep you from having these opportunities of working out with a T-Tapp Trainer.
