My beloved grandmother passed away on my 12th birthday, and it was then I decided to go into a life of service to people, so I can help them be well. I went to nursing school after High School and achieved that dream in my chosen field of geriatric nursing.

I have been active all of my life participating in sports growing up. After the children started coming, I found in-home workouts to be the best for me. I have tried several different types, Kathy Smith, Denise Austin, Firm, Pilates, Yoga, Step Aerobics, etc... While I enjoyed them, the use of equipment was a major draw back, lugging around free weights, steps, bands, high boxes, and the like was very difficult.

In June of 2001 I was pointed in the direction of T-Tapp while on another forum. After visiting the T-Tapp web site, I thought it just might help alleviate the pain I was experiencing in my back from being pregnant, not that all pregnancies have back pain, but this was my 6th pregnancy… and after having 5 children within 8 years, and now another one due in September, my back was aching! So I started with the instructionals, and found that my back pain was much better. I continued to T-Tapp during my last trimester and was thrilled to find I also lost inches in hips and thighs. Because of this, I was able to quickly lose the weight I put on from that pregnancy, I love how T-Tapp has made me strong again; I am able to do things with the kids that I wasn’t able to prior to T-Tapp and I was able to do all of this without the use of any equipment because I was using my body as a machine, and I could do it in the comfort of my home while the kids played or were napping.

In December of 2003 I asked Teresa if I could study to become a T-Tapp Trainer and was thrilled when she accepted my application. So now being a part of the Mommy Fitness Team I can continue to further help those who need me, I look forward to this new chapter in my life and helping Tappers through their pregnancy and beyond. You can be assured that you can draw upon the expertise of the Mommy Fitness Team of Trainers for the guidance you need to succeed and to help you modify to your growing body's needs and still work your body comprehensively.
