Mom of the Month
Allison S.

How many children do you have and what are the ages?
We have two boys - Skyler who is 18 months and Brody who is 5 weeks today!

How did you find out about T-Tapp?
I learned about T-tapp reading Dr. Perricone's book – I was amazed that there was something fitness-wise that I hadn't tried!

How long have you been T-Tapping?
I started 5 months after I had Skyler – so about 13 months.

Why did you choose to start T-Tapping?
I saw all of the amazing testimonials and said to myself "even if it's 1/4 as good as these people say it is, it's worth $80 to try it". I called the office and talked to Jeannie for about an hour – she was so helpful and I was really encouraged!

When I started – I felt like the incredible shrinking woman! I lost a size in the first 2 weeks!!! Plus 28 inches in 6 weeks – incredible results (but only 6 lbs by the way)! From a tight 14 (5 mos post pregnancy and I had been working out all the time before I found T-tapp) to a snug 10. SOOOOO close to my goal of being a size 8, and then I got pregnant... I was happy about the pregnancy – but BUMMED not to get to my goal and have to postpone it for a year...

Which are your favorite moves from T-Tapp?
I love Tempo Arms, and when I was in my third trimester – it's pretty much all I could do with my belly. I lost an inch of each arm in my third trimester! I've also never been stronger – even doing weights and resistance training. My favorite move is probably Plies because it really gets my heart pounding! I also like the water breaks.

Are/were you doing a specific eating program prior to finding out that you were pregnant?
Nope – that's what I loved about T-Tapp. I could eat what I wanted and still lose inches.

Are you using Teresa's Cellulite Removal Technique?
No, although I do skin brush almost every day.

Do you do any other kinds of activities with this pregnancy such as walking, aerobics, etc? Yes, I walk at least a mile and a half with our dogs almost every day.

Are any other Better Body Basic product that you used during your pregnancy?
Tempo Arms, Tempo Torso.

What other health benefits have you had while doing T-Tapp (less edema, less PMS crazies, reduction of knee pain, control of depression, etc)?
Even though I had a pretty miserable pregnancy, I found that days I worked out – specifically T-tapp – I felt much better.

Were there any specific T-Tapp moves you used while pregnant or in labor to increase your comfort level? What modifications did you make to the Total Workout during your pregnancy, if any?
In my last trimester, I definitely couldn't do ankle palm pull and took it way easier on Torso Twist.

How long after pregnancy did you start up again, and with what workouts?
I started 8 days in (even after a c-section) just with the basic and avoided T-Tapp Twist. Then about 15 days in, I started up with gentle Tempo Arms...then at about 4 weeks, did a full Ladybug standing.

What kinds of inch loss results have you had from T-Tapp?
So far, after two weeks – 12 inches!!! I'm back to my PRE PREGNANCY size! And even fit in pants that didn't fit before. WOO-HOO. I've had a tough time getting in full workouts – almost impossible really since I now have a FUSSY COLICKY baby!! But I try getting in at least the basic part of Ladybug. I've also incorporated Yoga since it makes me feel REALLY good. I think I'm going to try the 20 minutes of LB standing, then do about 20 minutes of Yoga – that's my ideal workout.

But I am trying a bootcamp of Tempo Torso for at least a week (I'm two days in now). And I'm trying to do OIP every day, since my abs NEED it! Also brushing to try and tighten up everywhere.

What kind of advice do you have for other pregnant women contemplating adding T-Tapp into their lifestyle?
Start slow and work up to where you feel good. I worked out up until the DAY I delivered.

Wish me luck on that SIZE 8 goal – I'd like to be there by June 1 – it's a size that I haven't seen in 7 years. I definitely want to be a HOT MAMA to my two boys – and my fabulous husband.
