Mom of the Month
Natalie
How many children do you have and what are the ages? I have one son, Noah, who is 13 months old.
How did you find out about T-Tapp? My wonderful sister, Gretchen, told me about it right before she went to Hawaii in June 2005.
How long have you been T-Tapping? Since she went to Hawaii in June 2005.
Why did you choose to start T-Tapping? The workout made sense. It was very rehabilitiatve and I was currently working out 6 days a week running and weight-lifting with no results.
Which are your favorite moves from T-Tapp? Balance--i feel like a ballet dancer; and Speed Skater--i feel like my legs are getting very strong
Are/were you doing a specific eating program prior to finding out that you were pregnant? No
Are you using Teresa's Cellulite Removal Technique? I brush after every shower. I ran out of alfalfa though.
Do you do any other kinds of activities with this pregnancy such as walking, aerobics, etc.? Walking, but not necessarily for exercise, just to get places. I was very sick during pregnancy and couldn't go into a Flat Back.
Are any other Better Body Basic product that you used during your pregnancy? No.
What other health benefits have you had while doing T-Tapp (less edema, less PMS crazies, reduction of knee pain, control of depression, etc)? Less edema, no siatic pain, less leg cramps (I was only able to T-Tapp when these symptoms flared up!).
Were there any specific T-Tapp moves you used while pregnant or in labor to increase your comfort level? T-Tapp twist and LawnMowers helped me with the siatic pain.
What modifications did you make to the Total Workout during your pregnancy, if any? No floor work or OIP.
How long after pregnancy did you start up again, and with what workouts? I started OIP right away (in the hospital even) and began working out at my 6 week appointment with the doctor's ok (I had a c-section)
What kinds of inch loss results have you had from T-Tapp? I weighed 215 at the birth of Noah and am back to my size 6/8 again!
What kind of advice do you have for other pregnant women contemplating adding T-Tapp into their lifestyle? Please please add it in, whatever you CAN add in, even if you're sick, it's worth it to feel well.
Are there any other wisdom you want to share with other T-Tapp Mommies about T-Tapp and pregnancy? Being in T-Tapp shape before pregnancy allows your body to remember where it was and return quickly! Brushing totally helps with stretch marks and that ucky loose skin!
