How many children do you have and what are the ages?
I have 3 children here and 1 in Heaven ages are 5, 2 and 9 months.
How did you find out about T-Tapp?
A friend told me about it and I started looking at the website and was hooked.
How long have you been T-Tapping?
I started T-Tapping 2 years ago but stopped for a short while. I started up again 2 weeks after giving birth by c-section in April of last year and have been consistently doing 3 full workouts/week when I am not in a bootcamp (I have done 2) for the past 9 months.
Why did you choose to start T-Tapping?
I wanted to lose inches.
Which are your favorite moves from T-Tapp?
TTN is still killer for me but I feel like it is really benefiting me and most recently have been doing a TorsoTrimmer challenge for myself and have had incredible results from that so I'm going to have to say OIP, HF, AL, DD, and PT also.
Are/were you doing a specific eating program prior to finding out that you
were pregnant?
I limited my sugar to once a week and was careful of my caloric intake during the week. Currently, I try to limit sugar to once a week but am not always successful at that :) I am still losing inches though.
Are you using Teresa's Cellulite Removal Technique?
I am using the brushing with the booklet that comes with it.
Do you do any other kinds of activities with this pregnancy such as walking, aerobics, etc.?
With my pregnancy I also did low impact aerobics and plenty of walking.
What other health benefits have you had while doing T-Tapp (less edema,
less PMS crazies, reduction of knee pain, control of depression, etc)?
I have lost many, many inches but I just feel better, sleep better and don't have back pain. I used to wake up every morning swollen and my rings would be really tight and that is gone now. Cycles have just returned and I did not have the pain and cramps that I normally have with it. I have had so many benefits that I am sure there are even things that I don't notice!
Were there any specific T-Tapp moves you used while pregnant or in labor to increase your comfort level?
No. But during the next pregnancy when we are blessed with one I will definitely be using PBS to keep my back feeling good along with no less than BWO to keep my strength and be able to bounce back again.
How long after pregnancy did you start up again, and with what workouts?
I began 2 weeks after pregnancy with the BWO+ and SATI. I had a c-section and could not do some of the moves where I had to lift my legs and could not do T-Tapp Twist because of the twisting. I listened to my body and got my strength back very quickly and before the end of the first 2 weeks could do most of the moves. I do want to add that you need to listen to your doctor as well as your body after a c-section because there is a lot of healing that is going on there!
What kinds of inch loss results have you had from T-Tapp?
In the 9 months since my son has been born I have lost 44 inches.
What kind of advice do you have for other pregnant women contemplating adding T-Tapp into their lifestyle?
The strength that you gain while t-tapping with help you with all aspects of the pregnancy and birth whether it be natural or c-section. The way that you will bounce back
after the birth will amaze you and those around you.
Are there any other wisdom you want to share with other T-Tapp Mommies about T-Tapp and pregnancy?
I have had 2 pregnancies that I did not exercise during and 2 pregnancies now that I have exercised during. The pregnancies that I exercised regularly were less stressful on my body. I had less pain, less swelling, less weight gain and I wasn't as exhausted. The overall experiences were better with the exercise.
