Tiffany Saller

Tiffany and kids

Tiffany is a 31-year-old Southern California mother of two, her son Jack is 2-1/2 and daughter Paige LeAnn was born on March 26, 2001. Between her career as computer programmer and caring for her two young children, she has little time for exercise or herself, so when Tiffany discovered T-Tapp she was ecstatic. I caught up with Tiffany two weeks postpartum to see how she was feeling and of course to hear about the newest T-Tapp baby, Paige.

Stephanie: So Tiffany are you feeling back to normal yet?

Tiffany: Almost, there is still a little pain from my incision and I'm exhausted having to chase after two kids. The good news is at my follow-up I was only 5 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight, and that wasn't even two weeks postpartum!

Stephanie: Paige is a beauty! How is she doing? How is she different from Jack?

Tiffany: She's a lot leaner, Jack was real pudgy and Paige has a lot better muscle tone; in fact, the doctor was remarking yesterday how good muscle tone she has and how she can already hold her head up. They are both very sweet tempered.

Stephanie: When did you first discover T-Tapp and what attracted you to it?

Tiffany: I found out about T-Tapp in March of 2000, pre-pregnancy. I found it on a weight loss board, someone was talking about what they did for exercise and someone mentioned T-Tapp, so I decided to check it out. I bought the brushing first, I was hoping I could actually brush the fat away and not actually work out; I don't like to work out.

But, quite a few things attracted me to T-Tapp. First, the before and after photos on the web site. There are all kinds of pictures of women who looked like me in the before shots, and what I wanted to look like in the after shots. With so many success stories, there I thought there HAD to be something to this.

Second, I liked Teresa's background. Her theories about exercise and food made sense to me, and since she has worked with so many women over the years in the modeling industry, I felt like she was in a unique position to help other women. Not only her experience, but also the fact that she wrote a thesis on the female metabolism gave her credibility in my eyes.

Third, I liked Teresa's whole body approach. I read everything on her web site, including the archives of her newsletters, and I realized that there was more here than exercise. The T-Tapp System is not just about losing weight, but about looking and feeling your best at any age. The T-Tapp Total Workout helps you lose inches, tone up, and helps rebuild your core muscles and rebuild bone density. The CRT system helps you remove cellulite and gets your skin in great shape. Then there are all these tips for nutritional supplements, skin and hair care, and ideas for eating healthy and being satisfied. I also liked that you don't have to diet. Of course, you can't expect to look and feel your best on a steady diet of soda and French fries, but as long as you do the T-Tapp Workout on a regular basis, you can indulge now and then and still look great.

Finally, there were no jarring movements or heavy cardio in the workout- Don't be fooled by this statement. The T-Tapp workout works every muscle hard! If you aren't sweating through it, you aren't doing it correctly. But, you don't feel like you are getting beat up, jumping up and down steps or doing aerobics. I can do the workout while my kids are napping and I won't wake them up. I also don't feel pressure or pain in my knees, hips, or back muscles.

Stephanie: Now Tiffany I know you are not a big workout fan, so what kept you doing T-Tapp?

Tiffany: Results! Even pregnant I had a waist and I just felt better.

Stephanie: Did you do it throughout your pregnancy?

Tiffany: I did it about three-quarters of the way through my pregnancy. I didn't really give up until February, I slacked off a bit but I still did it; and I definitely brushed the whole time.

Stephanie: Wow that's great. How was this pregnancy different than your first?

Tiffany: With Jack I had gestational diabetes and terrible edema, in fact I went up two shoe sizes; but, with the exercise and the brushing it apparently kept my lymph system clean. Also, I had a little swelling here and then, but I knew what to do with the T-Tapp System and had the tools and the knowledge to take care of it. Last time my feet hurt and I could barely walk because they were so swollen.

Stephanie: Would you recommend T-Tapp during pregnancy.

Tiffany: Yes! Definitely. I had the tools to keep the edema (swelling) under control. My first pregnancy I was so swollen I went up 2 shoe sizes, and walking was agony on my feet. This time, at the first sign of swelling, I made sure to take my alfalfa, drink lots of water, and do certain moves from the T-Tapp Total workout (such as Hoe Downs. Awesome Legs, and Plies) and I was always able to control the swelling

Stephanie: Wow Tiffany it sounds like T-Tapp really helped you not only with regards to keeping your weight under control, something we all seem to worry too much about, but also with other pregnancy woes. Why do you feel T-Tapp is beneficial for pregnant women?

Tiffany: Well, it kept my energy level up and with a 2-year-old at home, I was exhausted before I got pregnant. If I T-Tapped at least three days a week I felt much more energetic. I could keep up with my son and keep up with responsibilities at work and at home. Also it helped to keep my weight under control while pregnant, I become an eating machine when I'm pregnant. With my son, I struggled to keep my weight gain under 40 pounds. This was a tough battle, because I had to weigh the needs of the baby with the needs of my body to keep from becoming too big. It wasn't that I was afraid of becoming too fat. It was more concern that it would be really hard for my system to support too much weight and a growing baby. It's tough to keep weight under control when you know you have to eat for baby, T-Tapp allowed me eat more and still keep somewhat lean during my second pregnancy. It also seemed to control my gestational diabetes. With my first pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and I was very concerned about my health and the health of the baby. I really believe the T-Tapp workout and the CRT system kept my system running more efficiently and helped me avoid gestational diabetes this time around.

Stephanie: Did anything surprise you during this pregnancy that you could attribute to T-Tapp?

Tiffany: Yeah, for one I could actually do the moves, in fact until the third trimester, I could do about 95% of the workout, with only minor modifications and also because of the hormones being released to stretch the muscles for delivery, I found I had more rotation and was able to stretch more on many of the moves, including Thread the Needle. I also was surprised that I kept my weight under control very easily. I was pretty much eating whatever I wanted (okay, I had to cut back on the burgers and ice cream somewhat), but as long as I drank plenty of water and T-Tapped regularly, I kept my weight gain to around 30 pounds. The first pregnancy I wore larges and extra larges. The second pregnancy I wore smalls and mediums through the whole term. I actually stopped T-Tapping the last month and a half of my pregnancy, and I still didn't gain any significant weight during that time. Also after the baby was born, she held her head up on her second day of life, and she wasn't nearly as chubby or jaundiced as my son. Her pediatrician commented that mommy must have been exercising during pregnancy and that would account for her being in such good shape, now I did exercise with Jack, but only walking.

Stephanie: Tiffany I really appreciate sharing your time with me, as I know you are really busy with your son and new baby girl. I also want to mention to T-Tappers that Tiffany will be posting before, during, and after success story photos in the weeks to come!

Tiffany: You're welcome Steph, and I just am so glad that Teresa made this system available to the general public!
