Hello fellow (and potential) T-Tappers!
My name is Beth (or techie on the forums!), I am a 38 year old mother of 2 year old twins. I found T-Tapp back in 2001, after reading about it in a Womanís World article. I sporadically tapped off and on for the next 4 years (work, pregnancy, sick babies, something was always happening that would cause me to lose my motivation for a while). In May of 2005, I realized that doing a 4-day boot camp and then nothing else for the month was not going to do me much good in achieving my inch loss goals, so I started making more of an effort towards consistency. I did various boot camps, joined the Habit Formers game last summer, even joined back with Habit Formers for several months last fall. Then in February, I was looking over my measurements charts since last May, and was amazed to discover that steady tapping had produced some great results- 21 inches and 2 sizes gone! Now, that was without as much consistency as I would have liked to see (there were still some days/weeks in there where I could have tapped but did not for various reasons), and definitely without formal dieting (I tried a few plans in there but would quit after short periods of time due to being HUNGRY when I tapped). I can only imagine how much more I would have lost were I more diligent in consistent tapping! Anyway, this is such a wonderful and effective program, even for a busy Mom such as myself! I have no doubt that as long as I continue to consistently T-Tapp and feed my body when it is hungry, I will eventually get to my goal size of a six!
Update after the Tampa October event (sent 10-10-06):
Well, here is my update thus far: I lost 9.75" after the retreat but I knew my muscles were swollen so I waited to measure again last night. I am now down 16" total!!!!
