During the summers I usually encounter a large amount of free time with nothing to do. For years, I spent countless hours lying on the couch waiting for the summer to fly by. I fell beyond the point of boredom into loneliness. I started to believe my summer would continue to be as miserable as it began then I found a great interest in working out and the benefits you get from exercising. Now I try to do it everyday, if I can. Before I lost my weight, I was overweight and saddened at the fact that I would do nothing to try and help myself. Now, I love the feeling I get after a long workout. I feel as if I am on top of the world and no one can bring me down. Some days the pain would be too much to bear yet I still continued and pushed harder and harder to achieve my goal.

My mom has been doing the T-Tapp workout for about two years now. She would always do it in the living room and I would walk in there and tell her how easy it looked and it was probably not doing any good. She would be sweating like crazy and sometimes I would just laugh at her. One day I was complaining to her that I had loose skin from losing weight and that I also wanted to tighten my abs a bit more. I also had some more body fat that I wanted to get rid of. She suggested I try T-Tapp and then suggested I enter the contest. So I decided to.

I started with a 7 day Boot Camp of Beginner Rehab and Hit the Floor. The first time I did the workout I was sweating like crazy. I could not believe it. I had to call my Mom right away and tell her I understood why she was always sweating when she did the workout with Teresa. It kicked my butt the first time I did it. I moved on to T-Tapp Tempo Workout, which I did with Hit The Floor every other day till the contest was over. Sometimes I would do Tempo Arms since I wanted to see the definition in my biceps and triceps. I alternated this with my days at the gym where I would lift weights for about and hour. I would take Sundays off. I ate a low fat diet, pretty high in protein and tried to eliminate junk food ~ but hey I am a teenager and had Pizza once in a while. When my mom measured me after the contest was over she was surprised at how tight my abs and torso were. I had trimmed it down. I said to her – yeah Mom, that T-Tapp just melted my fat away with all that sweating. I know it was the T-Tapp it just melts your fat!!!

I am 17 years old and last November I weighed almost 240 pounds. I went to the doctor last week and weighed 199.5 pounds. I am happy with my life and myself. I have accomplished a lot by myself with the encouragement from my Mom. Overall the benefits of working out have made a gigantic impact on my life and I’m glad I spent my summer wisely instead of wasting it, sitting on the couch. I made some great changes in my life during the summer of 2004, and I will stick with these changes for the rest of my life.
