Davette Brown

My name is Davette Brown and I am 36 years old. I started T-Tapp in February 2004. I finally had enough space in my tiny apartment to do the exercises. I did Instructional 1, wondering the whole time if I was doing it correctly. I was sweating buckets after the first workout, and my knees were hurting from doing the Plies. Next night I cut the reps on the plies from 8 to 4.

After 4 days I switched to Basic Workout + and increased the plies to 6. I didn’t feel any different at first, then one night at Bible Study after sitting for an hour, I went to stand up for closing song and prayer. Usually I have to move slowly because after an hour I am stiff and sore, but I noticed this night as I started moving in slow motion, I realized that my knees and back weren’t hurting! I also took a sneak look at my measurements and 12 inches were gone!

On day 7 I measured and 20.5 inches were GONE! I had to send my measurements to my mom and have her double check them. After 6 weeks, my total inch loss is 40” and I went from a size 24/2X top and 26/3X bottom to a total size 20. I even got workout clothes in XL-Target XL not Lane Bryant XL! I feel better not achy and stiff all of the time. Did I mention I didn’t change my diet? Now I don’t drink soda and I drink at least 4-5 liters of water a day, I didn’t make any changes when I started Tapping. My mom couldn’t understand how I could lose even when I was eating ice cream at her house every weekend [and real ice cream too-not low fat or sugar free]. She couldn’t believe that the instructions said not to diet when you get started.

I got to wear some clothes that I couldn’t fit before, including a suit that still had the tags on it, and some clothes that I haven’t worn in a while. My son likes to encourage me with “T-Tapp Hugs” and he recites most of the workout for me if I am doing it without a tape. He likes to do Hoedowns and Thread the Needle. My favorite is T-Tapp Twist, because I get a real good crack in my back that always makes me feel good.

If anyone is sitting on the fence or has the tapes and hasn’t done them yet-TRY THEM!!! You have nothing to lose but inches and everything to gain.
