13 WEEKS - 63 3/4" & 41 1/2 LBS LOST
When I started T-Tapping on July 9, 2007 I was a typical mid-western girl:
- 41 years old
- 5'9" tall
- married to a wonderful man for 20 years
- two beautiful daughters (13 & 16)
- and obese (203lbs, BMI:30)
First a little history… I woke up one beautiful morning in April of 2003 and to my utter shock I weighed 275lbs. I couldn't believe it. How had I gained so much weight and not noticed it?
It was at that point that I said enough and began eating a low-carb diet and exercising 3-5 times a week. Over the next 4 years I would gain and lose and gain again nearly 300lbs. Talk about yo-yo dieting.
During this time I took part in all kinds of different exercise programs - walking, bicycling, yoga, pilates, strength training and even something called Iron Yoga where you spend 60 minutes doing yoga poses while performing strength training. No matter how hard I worked or how many hours I put in, the inches were slow to drop and the cellulite just wouldn't budge.
On May 8, 2007 I started once again down the low carb diet path - I weighed 243lbs and my BMI was 35.9. I vowed that this would be the last time I had to take this weight off. I knew that losing and gaining so much weight, so many times was almost as bad for me as being overweight in the first place. I spent a month doing my own version of low carb, then on June 11th joined an online low-carb, low-fat diet group. That's where I heard about T-Tapp.
When I first read about T-Tapp I thought it was some sort of marketing ploy - lose up to 2 sizes in 4 weeks in only 15 minutes a day? Right. There was no way that could be true.
So being skeptical, I ordered "Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes" off of amazon.com. I figured what the heck; it's less than $15 including shipping, there was a DVD included and a 30% off coupon.
The book arrived, I started reading and I was intrigued. But it still sounded way too good to be true. I attempted to do the exercise program from the book and couldn't figure it out - keep in mind that I am really uncoordinated and can't do origami either.
It was time for my first call to the 800#. Still being skeptical I ordered the Basic Workout Plus which came with the Yes You Can and Step Away the Inches DVDs too. I waited for my DVDs to arrive.
Once they arrived, I weighed in at 203lbs, measured and finally started my 14-day boot camp.
I lost 13 1/4" my first week and have been a T-Tapp fanatic ever since.
Since I started T-Tapping just 13 short weeks ago I've lost an amazing 63 3/4" and 41 1/2 pounds!
I am now at a very healthy 159lbs with a BMI of 23.5.
I've gone from barely fitting into a size 16 to wearing a very comfortable size 10.
By the time I'm finished, I expect to be a size 8 (which I haven't been able to wear since 9th grade!!!).
Like most, my body doesn't always do what I want it to do and of course it decided to hold onto the flab between my belly button and knees until the bitter end (combo body type with short torso tendencies). However, thanks to T-Tapp I have been losing steadily in this trouble zone and soon hope to have it fully toned and bathing suit ready for a trip we are taking in February.
I currently alternate between Tempo Lower Body and the Basic Workout Plus/Organs in Place/Half Frogs 5 days a week and am looking forward to a 13 day abbreviated Model Blitz later this month.
Now for the biggest challenge of all - keeping the weight off. This is an area where I've failed miserably in the past. Thanks to T-Tapp, the support I get on the forums and Teresa's God Made Man Made eating program I know that I will to maintain my amazing new figure and live a healthier and more active life.
Teresa - Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
I look and feel the best I've felt in years… between my diet and T-Tapp my irritable bowel syndrome is under control and even though I've lost 84lbs in the past 5 months I have very little loose skin and my body is firming up fabulously!
I don't quite understand why this program produces such fantastic results, but it certainly does.
My friends call me a walking poster child for T-Tapp and I am happy to spread the word about this fantastic exercise program to all who will listen.
