My T-Tapp Story
In late February 2011, I was 5 months postpartum with my 3rd child. My body was stretched out, saggy, and nothing from my closet full of clothes spanning 4 sizes fit. I didn't like it, but hated exercise programs. We bought a used treadmill, and I really tried to be faithful. But staring at the basement walls wasn't exactly helping my motivation.
That's when I started hearing about T-Tapp on an online forum I am part of. Feeling so disgustingly lethargic and like my body could be a Jello Jiggler(!), I ordered the Yes You Can DVD to see what it was all about. When the DVD came, I watched it as a "prove it to me" person, and the science that Teresa shared just made so much sense. I had also gotten the Step Away the Inches DVD on special, and I decided to start with that, since I had it.
On March 17th, I started the Stepping workout. My waist measured a very, very thick 39.5 inches. I am 5'5", so that is NOT a flattering size! I could not believe how much I sweat that first week! It seemed so simple! Every day for 8 weeks, I did a Stepping workout. On Sundays I would get up extra early so I could do it before church, knowing that if I didn't do it then, I'd talk myself out of it by the afternoon.
After one month of 20 minutes a day, I had lost 11 pounds and five inches off my waist. I was hooked. I had so much energy, and for the first time since I'd gotten pregnant with my first child, almost five years prior, my hormones were balanced. No crazy mood swings, which was SO nice. My husband told me I was never allowed to stop T-Tapping!
At the end of 8 weeks, I'd lost 8 inches off my waist. Not to mention my hips and thighs shrinking little by little.
I knew I'd found something that WORKED, so I ordered Basic Workout Plus. And did 14 days straight of that. Another 1.5 inches off my waist! I switched back and forth between Basic Workout Plus and Step Away the Inches all summer. But I wasn't consistent with either, nor being careful with my diet (which basically means too much sugar!). Consequently, I didn't lose any more.
I started back more consistently in September, thanks to some friends keeping me accountable. I didn't measure again until the last of the month, and discovered I had lost a total of 20 pounds and 10 inches off my waist. It did something for my psyche to see that number! I have been so motivated to continue faithfully!
My husband has even worked out with me on occasion. With his work schedule, he can't do it as often with me as we'd both like, but he has been amazed at how his back and neck pain have gone away. In the one week he worked out every day, he lost 7 inches overall. And could button pants he hadn't worn in a year!Â
We live on a farm, and he comes home during spring/fall with a sore back from driving tractors and trucks for long, long hours. Primary Back Stretch takes care of it for him!
Mid-summer I ordered the CRT Brushing Sequence DVD and Body Brush Combo , and have been loving how wonderful my skin feels, and how my saggy tummy is ever so slowly starting to tighten up. I had been getting discouraged, that though I could feel the muscles quite tight underneath that handful of "flab", my tummy still sagged over my jeans every time I sat down. Now the sagginess is going away!
It has been just over a year since our 3rd child was born. I realized at her party that I no longer dread seeing myself in photos with my children. I still have more work until I'm where I really want to be physically, but I am no longer discouraged about it, because I know what to do to get results!
We are beginning homeschooling this year. My sons are slowly learning how to do Hoe Downs as part of our exercise time. They think it is hilarious fun!
Thanks!
