I would like to personally thank everyone involved in bringing this challenge to us. My name is Michelle Barbuto, I am 38 years old, married and have 6 children ages 2- 13. I live in a small mill town north of Pittsburgh, PA. I have used this time to grow in my knowledge of many different things, and learned to treat my body as a machine, making knowledgeable decisions that will affect me for a long time to come!
I used the skin brushing daily, followed by the Skin Saver body on by lower abdomen, above my knees and at the top of my thighs. I have noticed dramatic results in the cellulite on my abdomen, for the first time in many years I can wear more form fitting clothes instead of loose clothes to hide my ‘pooch’. The skin above my knee use to be so loose, but now has firmed up and is even looking like the legs of yesteryear! (Welcome back mini skirts!) The stretch marks at the top of my thighs have diminished and I am not so self-conscience of them. My texture of my skin has improved so dramatically that I know I will always continue to use the brushing technique.
The personal Profile CD has replaced radio stations in my van. (Much to the dismay of my children) I listen to it over and over. I have learned how to help my body function better based on blood type and ethnic heritage. I made use of the abundant vegetables that are at local farm markets, taken 6 – 12 of Teresa’s Alfalfa per day, and eat raw almonds daily. I drink between 10 – 12 glasses of water a day either with the grapefruit oil or fresh lemon. I also have limited my sugar and sweets intake (but not eliminated J) and decreased drinking milk. (Which I have came to discover I have a milk sensitivity!) Listening to my body has become such a wonderful experience for me, and the fact that I hear my children telling me things that I know they also learned from listening to the Personal Profile CD, is an astonishing bonus! I know that putting my body in a better acid /alkaline balance also helped my repeat PAP test come back normal! (It had been abnormal 6 months ago!)
While I had already established a regular workout routine using my T-Tapp tapes, I used this time to help perfect my form and study why things are done a certain way. I started to use a mirror, and boy was I surprised at what I learned needed improved! I did a mix of all of my tapes, and ended with a 4-day bootcamp. I also loved doing the AL/DD/PT combo; I feel that is one of the main reasons for me loosing 3.25 inches from my waist alone. (Yes, after having 6 kids, I now have a waist! I never would have thought that possible!) I took all of the moves and broke them down, did them slowly so I could feel it and see what was to be done. That really helped me. I listened to my POP tapes and then did them through the day. I didn’t measure my self during the challenge (other than my waist which I rediscovered!) and tried not to weigh myself. (I was so addicted I use to weigh myself sometimes 4 or 5 times a day! Can you believe it?!) So when this challenge ended I was pleasantly surprised to see 12 inches had disappeared along with 10 pounds! Where’d they go? Who cares! But all I know is that I feel better than I have felt in years, I am able to play with my children, I walk with my shoulders back, (is that really me with my shoulders back?) I have more energy and sleep much better.
