I first heard about T-Tapp by pure coincidence. I was walking through a bookstore and saw "Fit and Fabulous in Fifteen Minutes" on the endcap of a shelf and picked it up on impulse. The title really appealed to me because I'm incredibly busy, so I was curious about what I could possibly do in fifteen minutes that would make me fit and fabulous. I was excited to read about the science behind the workout, especially the focus on the lymphatic system. Being a massage therapist who gives lymphatic massages, I understand a lot about the important role the lymphatic system plays in our health. T-Tapp made a lot of sense to me. But the clincher was all the success stories! I couldn't believe that there were so many! Other diet and exercise books I've read have maybe five or six testimonials that are focused on. So it gave me great hope that T-Tapp would work for me too. Needless to say, I purchased the book, hoping that it wouldn't end up collecting dust like the others.
Before I started the workout, I took a few days to read through the book so I understood it. I also hopped online and read more success stories on T-Tapp.com and the message boards. That encouraged me even further, especially when I saw pictures of what T-Tapp can accomplish in just a week or two. Yet, I was still skeptical. I didn't think I would get the kind of inch loss everyone else had. But I figured I could at least try it for two weeks and see what happens. After all, I was still hopeful.
So I measured and took my "before" pictures and T-Tapped for the first week, using only the book. I was sure I wasn't doing everything correctly and my form was probably pretty bad. And because of this, I didn't think I would lose anything. But my pants were suspiciously loose... I was too excited to wait a full week to measure again, so I broke out the measuring tape only four days later. I was totally shocked to find that I had lost 4.25 inches. In FOUR days!!! In the past, I had been lucky to lose ONE inch in a WEEK with other programs. T-Tapp certainly made a believer out of me!
I have now been Tapping for a little over three weeks and have lost a total of 13.5 inches. While I haven't lost a dress size yet, my clothes are definitely more comfortable. But I have also gotten other benefits from T-Tapp above and beyond the inch loss. I have A LOT more energy and feel less stressed. And my knees hurt much less than before! I had dislocated my left knee about 5 years ago and elected not to have surgery. It took about three years before my knee felt stronger, but it still wasn't back to normal. I couldn't really kneel on it or squat for very long. But now after T-Tapping for three weeks, I can do both of those things with far less pain than before. I've also noticed more of that neuro-kinetic flow that Teresa talks about. I have more body awareness and satisfaction, and although I haven't been dieting at all, I'm more aware of what I eat and how it affects me. I'm excited to see what else can happen as I continue Tapping!
I'm now a firm believer in the T-Tapp way of life and would highly recommend it to anyone. And for all the skeptics out there: it really works! Believe me, I was one of them! Thank you, Teresa!
