Penny Danner

My name is Penny. I am 38 and have two children. I had used T-Tapp in the past after having my first son and lost all of my weight (and inches) and was wearing a size 10. Then I became pregnant with my 2nd son. I fell off the T-Tapp "wagon" and finally got back up again October 2004. From October thru Jan 2005 I lost 3 sizes and around 30 inches and 20 lbs. I tried doing too much too fast with lots of contests here and a model blitz, and really burned myself out. I just stopped doing anything. I gained back half of the inches I had previously lost and went up one dress size. I decided to get back on a little at a time and participate in the Habit Formers contest. I lost 2.75 inches over a 2-month period with completing only one full workout per week...and most of the time that was only Basic Workout Plus. Sometimes I'd workout twice a week but I still wasn't into it...just trying to hang on to what I had lost and not gain more inches. My weight stayed around the same three to four up and down all summer thanks to the sporadic tapping I was doing and sometimes healthy eating. I participated in two four-day bootcamps with some ladies on the forums, but I still didn't want to "Just push play" and become consistent with my workouts again.

It was after I won Honorable Mention in the Habit Formers contest and heard several testimonies from the contest winners that the light bulb came on for me. The key to it all is CONSISTENCY.... something struck a chord with me and I've been on fire ever since! I did a bootcamp three weeks ago and have stuck with every other day for 3 weeks now. I even participated in an at-home "retreat" with some ladies from the forums knowing that those great folks at the yearly Safety Harbor retreat in Florida were having such fun and losing inches, as well as other ladies doing the at home "retreat". That kept me motivated. In the three weeks since my last bootcamp, following every other day and working out during my "retreat", I've lost another 5 inches! Between the Habit Formers contest and my latest consistent workouts I've lost 9.75 of the 15 inches I had gained back! I'm back into a solid size 16 now and going down.
