My Health Testimony – Progress Report
As a homeschool mom to 8 children and a necessitating need to work full time as a medical transcriptionist from home, my life was taking on a season of busy-ness beyond reason. All I knew is that I needed to get myself healthy enough to handle the stress before the stress handled me! While we eat relatively healthy with cooking from scratch, the reality was I exercised little to none and consumed a lot of sugar. So I figured if I cut out obvious sugar and added regular exercise, I should easily lose 30 pounds of “baby” weight gained over the last 20 years of being pregnant or nursing. Right? Hmm…well, maybe.
After more than six months of this thinking I was able to lose 20 pounds and 17”, but then I stood still for another 6 months. As committed as I was, I was not seeing the results and became concerned. In addition, there were no improved health benefits that I had hoped to see from this diligent and time consuming exercise program. I was tired beyond tired, sleeping little, living on caffeine, memory loss, aches and pains, and the list goes on. So I dove further into investigating my diet. Again another 6 months of standing still. Then I heard about T-Tapp for a second time. The first time I heard about it, I thought, oh it is probably just a fad and my ladies gym or walking DVDs at home are working fine for me. Although I must admit the amount that was being lost in such a short time period really intrigued me, but I was concerned as I had already invested in these other programs. Finally, as I heard it a second time, I listened to the Yes, I Can presentation and now I was EXCITED! This was no fad! This was real workout for real people addressing the ENTIRE body including the lymphatic system without lots of time AND can be done ANYWHERE! No machinery required! Once you know the exercises and the philosophy, you can work out as you are in the grocery store walking up and down the aisle, or taking a break from sitting at the computer!
So, I made the commitment to work EVERY DAY for two weeks as the instructions said, and I was AMAZED at the results! I had stopped my ladies gym membership and I sold my walking DVDs and so I was able to get the book, which had the personal measuring chart and showed you how to measure. I had to measure myself 3 times just because I was so surprised at how many inches I lost in the first week! By the end of 2 weeks I had lost over 5”. After the 2 weeks were up I have not had time to do it every day but I average 3-5 times per week, depending on our schedule that week. Now 10 weeks later I have lost over 17” and I am still losing! That is the same amount it took me six months to lose at the ladies gym and I spent twice as long trying to do it! I have noticed now that if I only do it 3 times in a week, I maintain, but if I only add 1 or 2 more days, I will lose more. Amazing! What a gift! A workout that works and only takes me 15 minutes a day! I have more time, which has created less stress, and I get a full workout in what FEELS like I have worked out and not just left me short of breath.
In the meantime, I have lost only a few pounds, but I am not discouraged because I am focusing on inches and not fat. You see, I had the opportunity to see an assimilation of what 5 pounds of fat looks like. It is huge! While we know that muscle weighs more than fat, can you envision the difference in size? Five pounds of lean muscle would be a completely different shape. I can feel my body building strength from the inside out and I can see it. My clothes (and especially undergarments) are just too big! The fat is leaving my body.
Due to being concerned about toxicity and skin moisturization, I recently added the brushing technique and am seeing positive results there too. My skin does not need moisturizing and the pores on my arms and legs are looking so much healthier! Brushing does make sense and it makes for healthier skin!
I have read Berei’s testimony and heard Charlotte Siems’ testimony and I am even more encouraged to keep on with T-Tapp because I KNOW it works LONG TERM! I love that I will not out-age T-Tapp! I can do T-Tapp now as well as when I grow older. My children can T-Tapp right alongside me no matter what age they are! I want to be healthy for life! I am 45 years old and my youngest child is only 3! I want to be able to pitch a baseball when I am a grandmother and a great-grandmother! This is the personal goal that keeps me motivated to better health. I am excited to have found and implement T-Tapp as I know it is one of the tools I need to help me achieve that reachable goal.
As for my eating habits, it turns out my research and assistance from a naturopathic doctor, is very much in line with what Teresa promotes in her healthy eating of GM foods. I encourage everyone who T-Tapp’s to commit to at least trying her eating recommendations for 90 days and see if you too can achieve even greater health benefit! If Teresa’s book and DVDs can say to me, “YES! You can!” And I can, then I say to you, YES! You can too!
