Trisch's T-Tapp Testimonial, June 2010:
I’m a 47 year-old homeschooling mama of 9 children, ages 3 to 23. I used to be able to eat everything I wanted, but that started changing about 10 years ago!
I found T-Tapp 3 years ago, in January 2007. I had been doing core strengthening exercises, some weight training with hand and ankle weights, an exercise ball and rebounding. This all would take me between 45 minutes to an hour a day! I would be wiped out 1-½ hours later and need a nap!
Right after the holidays of 2006, I was discouraged because in spite of all the above working out, and even watching my eating, I still weighed and looked like I did the day before I delivered my son 3 months earlier!!! I remember dejectedly telling my husband, “Well, I guess I’ll be fat, but at least I’m flexible!”
I hated exercise videos! But when a friend told me she had lost 15 inches in three weeks doing this workout called T-Tapp, I was all ears! She shared a little with me, and I got the book from the library right away!
I lost 15 inches in three weeks using just the book! It took me awhile to get it and of course it was longer than 15 minutes, but I was hooked! Another friend loaned me her BWO+ dvd while I saved my change to purchase my own workout.
And I was thrilled that I didn’t need a nap afterward!
I started with mainly BWO+ and SATI the first 6 months, although I did do a little of TWO here and there. I lost 4 sizes over that time! I was so elated! I was also feeling more stamina, and another bonus was a lump under my arm decreased in size, too!
The next 6 months I added in more workouts from T-Tapp, kept losing inches….but no sizes! It was a bit discouraging, but thanks to all the wonderful Tappers and Trainers on the forums, I kept going! (I am so very grateful for the forums!).
Amazingly, the next spring, I dropped two sizes within 2 months, with little inch loss! I guess my body was catching up to the inches lost in the fall!
I then was “stuck” for about a year before dropping yet another size. Again, the forums were such a wonderful source of encouragement and help!
I have attended several clinics, which I highly recommend because it really helps to have a trainer evaluate your form, plus you get new tips and new “a-ha’s”! (And you meet new friends!)
In the times when inch loss slowed down or I wasn’t losing sizes, I started writing down all the benefits you can’t “measure”. A very big one is the lump under my arm has disappeared! That is worth a size loss right there! I also went from seeing my chiropractor every other week to maybe every 3 months! That alone has more than paid for every dvd I own and every clinic I’ve been to!
I have continued to rebuild my health and stamina, my skin looks better than it has in 20+ years….and I have no loose hanging skin, thanks to body brushing and Teresa’s dead sea salt baths and masks!
I’ve lost 158 inches to date, but only 35 pounds—up until a month ago, that was only 25 pounds! It doesn’t “make sense”—except when you think about muscle density! I don’t really get too excited about the scales anymore—inches count! I started at a 22W and am now in size 10!
I love it that I have been able to slowly address my eating vs. having to “diet” to get those good results. In the last month I have made some major changes to my diet, especially cutting out sugar and dairy, but as an emotional eater, T-Tapp has helped me in so many ways to be ready to take this step.
Did I say I hated exercise videos?! I now have just about all of Teresa’s! The only other exercise I do is walk…the kids play with the weights, rebounder and exercise ball now!
I also take Teresa’s alfalfa, and it has helped my cycles regulate (even at 47!), and I really believe it feeds the skin-- last fall someone asked if I was my oldest daughter’s sister! I’ll take that!!!
Over the past 3+ years, 80% of my workouts have been shorter ones like BWO+, SATI, Basic Tempo and my all time favorite, MORE. In fact, MORE has been 40% of that 80%! MORE has saved me so many times—when I was having problems with my hip (which has since rehabbed and is why I hardly ever see the chiro), when I was feeling a little under the weather, and last summer when I had some adrenal fatigue, I could at least do MORE Chair!
On super time crunched days, MORE offers options—I love options! MORE Chair is 10 minutes, MORE Broom is 7 minutes (not counting doing PBS first) and MORE Step Away is just over 9 minutes—so I have NO excuse to not workout due to time!
But it really is also a “clinic in a box” as the trainers call it! The slower pace and fewer reps really help me focus on form, and I think the MORE instructional is the best!
I had the privilege of going to the Safety Harbor Retreat last fall—what a wonderful experience! The “ultimate” clinic! More than all the wonderful tips and tweaks I learned, I was impressed with the “sisterhood” as Teresa called it. T-Tappers are such a special bunch of people! And you feel it on the forums, too—we’re all excited about everyone’s successes—I’m so very grateful to have found T-Tapp!
T-Tapp has helped me lose inches and sizes, look better, be healthier and stronger, but even more —
I have made many new friends, and I’m grateful for them ALL!
And I am especially grateful for my family, who has supported, encouraged and rejoiced with me all the way!
