After 60 days

I lost 6 lbs and 13.5 inches total in two weeks.  I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!! My clothes are fitting very well and I fit into a couple of things I didn't before. I think I've lost a whole size.  I'm much more mobile and flexible and don't have any aches in my back or legs. I have a much better outlook on life and find my mental health to have gotten a real lift. I'm standing much straighter again and can feel the muscle that I have gained as I move about my day. My skin is clearer and my digestion has improved. My circulation is much better also and I don't feel so toxic!

I haven’t been as diligent in working out as I would like, in the two weeks that the contest has been going on I have only worked out 5 times. However, I will say that with only 5 workouts under my belt I have noticed changes and not just in the numbers above.

Some of the changes I have noticed:

Better posture, not perfect but better

Less tension in my neck

I fall asleep faster

My clothes fit a little better

My body looks firmer

I’ve also noticed that as I learn the moves they become easier but then you start to really focus on your form and it takes the work out to a whole new level.

I’m really looking forward to measuring at the end and the results so far are helping me to better prioritize my evenings; I can watch TV/relax or work out and be healthy/feel great.

If I did my calculations right, I've had a total inch loss of 10 3/4!

The first week and a half I had a little more energy, but I was really nauseous.  I thought it was the flu or something, but after reading the forums I quickly learned that it was just my body detoxifying.  I must have had a lot of toxins!  But that soon disappeared and I've since had an increase of energy!  I really am starting to feel great!

Well I feel pretty rootin’ tootin’ good!  It amazes me what a half an inch here and a quarter of an inch there does to a body to really show inch/size loss.  My size 12 pants I bought at Christmas (and were tight from my holiday indulgence) are now becoming very lose (i.e. it's belt time!)  I also decided to buy some new pants and went for the size 10 instead of 12 (and yup they fit!)

I also have been noticing my coordination improving.  My biggest example of this is my drumming.  Before I stumbled, fumbled, and bumbled through playing (i couldn't get the left hand, right hand coordination going.)  I'm going to a drumming circle next month so began practicing again...and guess what...I have coordination!  I'm amazed how I can do the drumming with both hands so naturally.  It almost doesn't seem real...lol!   I have to admit I thought the "right brain/left brain" T-Tapp principle was a buncha hype.  T-Tapp has done it again...proved me wrong and in the process giving me something that I can use!

How do I feel? Fantastic! WOW- I really am so shocked- 5.75 inches in two weeks. Although I have been dedicated to tapping - started with a 4-day boot camp of Tempo and then went to an EOD routine. I have not been really eating all that great. I think that is the most shocking thing because you do not expect to see results because you have not been "dieting" but your body is getting stronger and becoming more efficient. Now I am sweating like crazy.  To think when I first started tapping a couple of months ago, I thought was easy and never got to a dripping state .I have noticed the other day that I can sit crisscross on the floor with out my hip ball-joint hurting- I think it was out of alignment due to holding babies. My feet do not hurt so much when I get up in the morning from plantar fasciitis. I am also short torso with weak knees, lower back and poochie belly issues. At 35 my knees crack when I go up and down the stairs. However my knees feel like they are getting stronger and when I climb stairs now I always think KLT and this seems to diminish the cracking. So far so good- this surprising inches loss in just two weeks is enough to keep me tapping- can't wait to see where I am at the end of the contest!

I am unemployed, and single not an easy combination.  The job market before Xmas was tough. I have to say that I found doing T-Tapp has really help to relieve my stress level.  I have found that I am not waking up 2 or 3 times during the night.  And doing the workout consistently seems to have helped me to be more positive about finding the perfect job.  I was at the mall on Sunday, and a man stopped me and said that I had great posture (hopefully this wasn't just his lame pick-up line) I really feel like I am walking a little taller. And I have more guys asking me out too. (Bonus) This program works on all areas in your life!   I am feeling less tight between my shoulder blades, and I and I can see results in my balance (I have many ear surgeries) and I have had a problem with balance for years. My shirts aren't as tight.

During the first two weeks of the T-Tapp contest I noticed an increase in energy, flexibility, and stamina.  I do not wake with the pain in my back and neck that I did 3 weeks ago.   I have done T-Tapp in the past but not as strict as I am now.   I can not believe how much my body has been changing and how nice I look in my clothes already!!!   It is amazing what small form tips can do to improve your workout.

I LOVE T-Tapp because it is NOT a bunch of jumping around and uncontrolled movements.  I have never done well with aerobics because I am NOT coordinated and my back, knee, and neck problems would just not allow it.  With T-Tapp everything is very isolated and controlled!!!  I find it so easy to do and I really look forward to my workout rather than dreading it!!

My back feels more aligned; I had some of a backache from holiday stress and excess. I have to tote all groceries home, don't have a car, so all shopping is done on the way home from work and I have to carry several bags in the process.

I have not changed my diet except I am trying to make sure I get enough fiber, so whole grains, fruit and veggies are on the menu. I have gained about a pound and a half since 1/4/05.

I have uterine fibroids and they seem to be acting up after my monthly period, it was noticeable in December and much worse in January. After 4 days of Basic+ the cramping subsided, I hope that trend continues. I have an appointment with my physician to deal with this. I also have to watch the fiber because constipation can be an issue. I am 48 years old and I am sure hormonal shifts have something to do with it.

So far I have been doing Basic Plus only, for a 14-day boot camp. I only did Step Away the Inches once. I plan on alternating Basic Plus one day and Step Away the Inches the next. I have done boot camps before, but it is hard for me to do every other day,  I usually forget. I like just doing Basic Plus and I don't have an excuse not to do it, makes me feel good, it's short and it's never too late to do it. I usually do right before bed, 10:30 or later. Since I lost 5.25 inches in two weeks, I can see it works even though I gained weight! I'll be happy to add in Step Away the Inches every other day.

ARLISS ALLEN

I am afraid I have not done so well. First of all, I was not able to T-Tapp because of my toe (I really do think I broke it now since it still is not healed). I have done the BWO+ about 5 times total and on my measurements I lost:

L Upper Arm – Lost 1/2 inch

Hips – Lost 2 inches

and all the rest stayed the same.

Hopefully by the end of the week my toe will be well enough it does not kill me when I try to do the workout. I figure then when I get fantastic results it even shows more how effective it is!! :-)

I did a 10-day boot camp of Basic Rehab, then every other day. What I've noticed is that, while I haven't lost a lot in inches, I've become more cut and toned. My body seems to be evening out and getting more symmetrical. I can button my pants and skirts easily (before they were tight). There's definition in my arms and upper stomach area now, where before there was none. I'm noticing that I can stand up straighter with better posture.  I seem to have more of a jaw line now, also. My hot flashes have stopped - I just feel better all around. When I do hoedowns and PBS during the mid-afternoon slump - my fatigue goes away. I'm really enjoying this program.

Total loss after 2 weeks - 11.1 inches!!!

To be honest during the past two weeks I didn't make good food choices, so  the loss is due to the total workout.  I ended up getting really sick for about 5 days and I missed 2 workouts (I was doing a 14 day bootcamp) and I still lost way more then I expected.  I had to add up the inch loss several times because I didn't believe it even though my jeans are fitting a bit better.  I feel really good physically and emotionally.  I know I am finally doing something that is good for my body.  I am telling anyone and everyone who will listen, about T-Tapp.    I have only lost .6 lb, but for the first time in my life, I DON'T CARE!!

I also measured some other areas that I did at Safety Harbor and have an additional 1 1/2 inch loss.

I've been tapping since Sept 2003.  I have been a slow loser.  In Oct 2004 I was able to attend the Safety Harbor retreat.  At that time I was at my lowest weight and wearing a size 14 pants.  Unfortunately after the retreat I suddenly gained 15 pounds in 4 weeks without any explanation for the gain.  Since then I found that my thyroid had been off for over a year.  This may explain why I could not budge the scale in 1 1/2 years and slow inch loss.  I also realized that I was getting depressed due to this body change.  I have worked so hard to lose weight and get my body healthy that this sudden change threw me into a depressive state of mind.  I also realize that thyroid problems have caused some of these emotions.

When the contest came up I decided it was time to refocus on me.  I just started a higher level of synthroid about the time the contest started.  For me I decided my energy level was not too good so decided to focus on BWO+ and the walking tapes.  I did not start my tapping until Jan 6 by doing 5 days of BWO+ and STEP AWAY THE INCHES.  Day 6 I was unable to do this workout so continued my boot camp for 4 more days.  Although I planned to do a 14-day workout my body was just too tired.  Walking was making my legs ache.  After the 9-day boot camp I stopped and measured two days later, the results being above.  So the above results are based only on 9 days of tapping during the first two weeks.

During these workouts I was not able to go straight through them.  I had to stop several times to stretch out the legs and rest.  Although while tapping I do not feel very energetic, I have noticed throughout the evening I have more energy and feel better.  I start my morning with PBS and brushing.  Mornings where I skip this I notice I'm just am not as awake and ready to start my day.  This really perks my body and mind each morning.  I also notice that my body does not feel bloated.  I can tell by measuring my wrist each morning.  If my thumb and middle finger can wrap around my opposite wrist I know my body is moving out toxins.  My pants, which I had to buy new larger sizes due to the weight and inch gains, feel so much better.  Even though the inch loss above may not show the difference I know by feel that they are more lose and comfortable.  When my legs move within my pants legs without the material feeling stretched and tight against my legs I know I'm losing the extra inches.  Now that I have started EOD I notice on the nights I do BWO+ that I sleep very sound.  I may wake up one time during the night but go back to sleep and sleep sound.  This has helped me also with the depression I was feeling about my body.  I am feeling more positive and happy and know that I must be patient with the medicine to kick in and my body to respond.  My emotions are coming under control and my family is happier with these positive changes.

Sorry Kitty this is a little long. Didn't know if you wanted a little background for the publisher's to know a little about each person.  Need to go do SITTM and then relax for a "me" day.  Took off work to regroup myself.  I know I can change this body and health but it is hard when you go backwards after coming so far ahead.  Never thought that after SH that I would find myself in this situation.

I am very happy with my 2-week results! Especially with the waist results - lost 2 3/4 inches. WOW!

I lost 5 3/4 inches and I was sick for about a week and wasn't able to do much workout at all during that time.  I didn't lose any weight, so I know I am building muscle.

I started out with a 4 day bootcamp, on day 4 of my bootcamp is when I became sick with a head cold and sinus problems, I went to every other day, and done two complete workouts, then after that I was only able to do parts of the workout, like about 15 min. or less. Because of being sick.

So in the past 2 weeks I have really only been able to do 6 complete workouts, but I am so very pleased with the results. I can only imagine if I had not become sick of how many more inches I could have lost.

Also I am sleeping better, I have had insomnia for years, and the past few nights I have actually been sleeping better.

I am excited to see what results the weeks ahead of me bring.

About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with Auto-Immune Disorder after several months of feeling sluggish, depressed, extremely tired and basically no zest for life (which also led to not taking very good care of myself and significant weight gain).  I was miserable until now!  I have had the TTAPP DVD's for about 2 months and did it here and there, but I always felt so tired I would not drag myself to do it (I come from psycho gym rat just under a year ago so I felt like if I didn't do 60 minutes at least "what is the point?").  When this challenge came about I thought what the heck ~ I need the motivation and if I won that would be very cool too.  I was sure I was going to do the B/R category up until literally the day to sign up.  I thought you know what I am going to put TTAPP to the test and only do BW+ for 60 days (hey it is better than what I had been doing and I finally realized if I did the other category I would be setting myself up for failure!).  So, drum roll please~ here I am 2 weeks later and down 12 inches.  I have not stepped on the scale and don't plan to, but can definitely tell my clothes are fitting better.  I have really noticed my energy is WAAAYYYYYY up there too.  Before TTAPP (2 weeks ago) I could barely drag myself out of bed at 6am now I have been getting up every morning at 5:30 to do my BW+ (most mornings I am up even before my alarm).  I have not had the 3pm work sluggishness at ALL and have had tons of energy at night too.  This to me is amazing in only 2 weeks ~ I absolutely cannot wait to see what 60 days brings.  The other great thing is it seems so easy to do the BW+ everyday because I always have 15 min and now with the energy I have no EXCUSES!  Thanks Theresa and Thanks Kitty for doing such a wonderful job putting this together.  What I am experiencing beats a free trip to Tampa FL, but I sure do want to go to Safety Harbor (free or not) and meet the lady who is changing my life.

I am a singer and my appearance is part of my job.  I am a 48yr old singer and there are way too many great young singers with fantastic figures for me to ignore my lumpy figure any longer.

The 2 CDs I've released have done remarkably well, nearly 7000 sold, my goal is to somehow break through the ceiling by hook or by crook and earn enough to buy a home and help my three sons with college.  Getting in shape can only enhance the chances!

I noticed during the past two weeks that my clothes started to fit differently. In some cases, tops were looser or jackets met better in the middle.

Possibly there has been some lifting in the depression I experience during the winter. Being in the contest is a huge incentive for me to exercise at this time of year.

I've approached this contest from the "slow and steady wins the race" perspective, which I have also been applying to my eating with the Naturally thin principles since June 2004. For the first week, I focused on adding PBS and brushing twice a day back into my schedule. This past week I continued brushing twice a day and added a few (3) MORE workouts. Yesterday I started a 4-day MORE BC and will participate in a form clinic with Lannette on Sunday, weather permitting.

I'm finding that on the mornings when I do PBS, I need less coffee to help me wake up and I am warmer outside in the cold (a definite plus here in NYC). My range of flexibility is noticeably increasing and I have more energy. To my surprise & delight, my pants are already fitting more loosely (yippee!).

I have had pitting edema as a result of my high blood pressure (I take blood pressure medication & did not want to start on diuretics) and the swelling has been very bothersome.  I think that the combination of taking alfalfa (6 tabs:  2tabs 3xa day), brushing, and T-tapping has increased my circulation.  I am amazed!!!

Took my measurements today.  For me it really is one week of doing MORE.
I didn't remember to take them until after lunch.

Surprise:  17.70 inches lost!!!!!  And my knee is getting stronger.

All I can say is WOW and Thank you!

Please let Teresa know, I didn't want to add more mail to her box during such a busy time.

Total inches lost in two weeks  =  13 1/4 inches

I have done the BWO+ six days a week for these two weeks.  In the second week I began adding the STEP AWAY THE INCHES program.  I have to admit that I spend most of the time "just stepping," but every day I'm getting better at adding the arm movements, etc

My size 18 jeans are starting to fit me comfortably again.  I have noticed a decrease in the pain in my lower back.  I've also noticed a sense of more strength in my legs as I've had to do some pretty heavy-duty tromping through the last big snow we had (in order to feed our horses.)

Julyn (my 19 year old daughter who recently moved to Provo, UT and is living with my older daughter, Melynda Fitt, came up over this past weekend and coached me on some "points of perfection."  I was amazed that I had lost this kind of inches doing the moves as imperfect as I had been.  I'm truly amazed at how this program starts working, even with the humblest effort.  It really encourages a person to keep going and to trust that the form will get better--and the results will keep coming.

I have lost a total of two inches and have noticed more energy; I don't feel a need to take a nap in the afternoon and at 52 years old and two teenage girls to keep up with that is something! I look forward to getting out on my walks with my beagle in the mornings even though it is below zero degrees the past couple of weeks, the air is refreshing and the fast pace gets the heart and blood pumping, a great way to get my day started.  I have been doing the BWO+ daily except for Sundays and either my walk for 30 minutes or STEP AWAY THE INCHES with the MORE tape.

In the first two weeks of the contest I have noticed changes in my body.  Over Christmas I fell off the T-Tapp wagon and was feeling sluggish, irritable and tired.  Now that I'm Tapping again my energy level has increased I sleep better and somehow Tapping seems to regulate my hormones my PMS (irritability and cramping are much less).  My muscles are more cut and I've lost 4.5 inches overall!  Today I put on one of my workout shirts that I haven't worn in a while, when I last wore it made me look like a sausage all packed in there now it's actually a little loose.

One thing I've noticed with T-Tapp is that with the other exercise programs I've done I used to feel tired after and drag myself through the day.  With T-Tapp I find that the days I do it in the morning I feel energized and ready to take on the day.  It's like a cup of coffee.  With other programs I would suffer from extreme muscle stiffness with T-Tapp I find my muscles feel like they have been thoroughly worked out without the stiffness.  I guess this is due to Teresa's focus on lymphatic drainage.  I love the T-Tapp system because its the only one that addresses a full spectrum of health concerns.

During the first week of T-Tapp my clothes are starting to get looser, my energy is up, and I've been sleeping better.  I even lost 2 pounds.  My husband even commented that he could tell some difference.

I did the 4-day boot-camp total workout and am now doing the exercises every other day. The third day was a killer but I endured.  I was ready to pull Teresa through the TV especially when she says "hang-in there, I'm hanging in there with you".  I've found myself being more conscious of making sure I keep my stomach and fanny tucked in even more.

Even though I feel like its torture, the benefits are starting to show little by little.

I feel like I am getting smaller even before I took my measurements.  Its wonderful to feel good about myself again.  I try to walk in KLT all day and just walking properly makes me feel good about myself.  I walk with confidence and am actually smiling again at work.  With T-Tapp I will once again feel better and look better in time.  But the best is how it makes you feel.

Total inch loss during the first 2 weeks = 6 inches!

The first week of the contest I got the flu. So I was not able to exercise at all during that week. This has really been only the last week!  I feel like this contest is the catapult toward my goal. Thanks for doing this!  I’m starting to feel like “Yes I Can” do this. I'm doing it!  Thanks Kitty!  Denise

TOTAL LOSS - 13 inches and 5 pounds!!!!!

During the first 2 weeks of the T-Tapp contest I noticed an increase in energy and less tendency towards depression, which had the added bonus of helping me to lose weight since I no longer found myself binge eating.  I have a tendency to be an emotional eater, and even though I eat healthy meals, I snack (or graze) constantly throughout the day when I'm "feeling out of control" emotionally.  However, I have noticed a more positive attitude towards life and myself in general which may be physiological or may just be the result of feeling better about myself because I'm doing something good for myself.

Although I decided not to make any New Year's Resolutions regarding diet and exercise this year, since they've usually been forgotten by March, I did happen to realize that if I could just cut out snacking and bingeing, I could probably lose considerable weight, so I thought that 1 pound a week would be a reasonable goal to work towards.  By the end of the year, I would have dropped the extra 50 pounds I've been carrying around for the past few years.  T-Tapp has helped me to control my mood swings (and thus the uncontrolled grazing), as well as burn off lots of extra calories.

In addition, I had been having pain in my left arm that I think was due to ulnar neuritis, which persisted for the past 6 months through yoga workouts and water aerobics.  I even stopped working out for a couple of weeks this past summer to see if it would improve, but it persisted.  However, I noticed after about 5 days of T-Tapp, the ache and pain are no longer there.

Finally, let me mention that I am a "prodigal tapper".  I tapped about 4 years ago, and looked better than I had in years ever though I was carrying additional weight, and then because my schedule became increasingly hectic, I gave it up.  I've thought about getting back into it, since I know it works--however, until I got news of the contest, I couldn't find the incentive to go through another bootcamp.  So thanks for providing the impetus---and many thanks to all of the ladies who post to the forum---I've been "lurking" and have received much encouragement to continue when my energy was lagging!

I started off this Contest with a 14 day Tempo& Beginner/Rehab Bootcamp.  During the first few days I immediately noticed that I was not retaining as much water in my legs. My “sock line” was no longer there! That was exciting to me! I started to feel stronger and felt like I was tightening up. My posture is definitely getting better. My suits started feeling looser. I Measured after 6 days, and was happy to see inch loss. Now that my Bootcamp is complete, I have lost a total of 5.75 inches!

The last 2 weeks have been very good for me.  I have finally gotten back to doing my workout.  I noticed the amount of body pain has become less.  My back hurts a lot less and my knee pain is getting much better.  My energy levels are slowly increasing.  I am having less of a problem keeping my body in alignment.  I guess that goes hand in hand with having less back pain.   As for my measurements they have been taken 2x but I have no desire to see them.  I do know I have lost inches, which is all I want to know.  I got a new bra that lifts by bust and makes it appear perkier.  I expected my bust measurement to have gone up, but it remained the same.  If I had gotten measured wearing my old bra I probably would have lost something there too.  All I know is that I am going in the right direction, DOWN.

Two weeks of tapping… what has changed?  The mornings aren’t as bad as they used to be.  I’m able to get up and be slightly motivated during the day.  The whole outlook on things is a little better, not so gloom and doom. Physically, I know it’s working.  My chronic problem areas are looking slightly better: my chest is looking manlier.  My stomach is slowly getting back to where it should be… not hiding parts of my lower body. I know that tapping has helped my back in the past.  Suffering from a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease, my days used to be filled with some amount of pain.  I almost feel back to normal.  I can actually lift equipment for my job again (with help from now on with the heavy stuff), since I can lift way more than the 15 pounds I was stuck to before. In the past two weeks, I have even gained the ability to do one full set of Oil Wells!  Most importantly, I can lift and hold my daughter until my arms give out… not my back

I feel super, I still have some down days but overall I am getting up earlier, I have way more energy and I am only sleeping about seven hours a night and no naps.  My clothes are fitting better, when I began the contest I was wearing size 22 pants, and now I can squeeze into size 20.  Life is soooooo good; I am becoming a new person thanks to T-tapping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you again for your patience - you are truly amazing, God Bless,

As you can see, I lost 19 inches to date.   I am AMAZED!!!I haven't even started my boot camp yet; just building up my muscles first and then will accomplish a 14-day boot camp.  So far my workouts have been every other day.  I have also been brushing on a daily basis, but mostly after my workouts.  Workouts I've done to date are the T-Tapp to tempo and the basic workout plus.  That’s IT! I feel refreshed and my muscles are toning up fast.  The fat shift is happening and I am enjoying it so far

Total inch loss – 3 3/4 inch!

Two weeks later…I’ve had a very slow start with my challenge, however, when I measured this morning there were a few surprises in inch loss, especially in my arms.  I have been skin brushing twice a day. This is a change from doing it once a day sporadically.

I’ve been doing the T-Tapp to Tempo workout about 3 times a week and the Basic Workout Plus at least once a week or when I just don’t have time for the full workout.  I haven’t done well at all in regard to my “diet.” I had planned to cut my sugar intake drastically to 2 days off and one day on. I did pretty well for one series, but usually I want a little sweet at the end of the day. Still working on that.

I did find that the Intermediate to Tempo Workout is too hard for me. After doing it, I starting spotting, which progressed into a period.  Then four days after completing that, I have started my regularly scheduled period, so I’m not happy about that.

Other than that, T-Tapp always makes me feel better. It takes away all my aches, pains, and stiffness. It’s a miracle worker for my aching back.  I thank God for Teresa Tapp.

I've been consistently tapping since the middle of August of 2004 when I
first discovered T-Tapp, so I haven't really seen any dramatic inch loss the
first couple weeks of this challenge. I have felt great as I made it through
the mental hurdle of completing a 10-day bootcamp. I feel increased energy
and really feel my body transforming to inner muscle. I haven't seen
dramatic changes, but my clothes are getting looser and I feel great!

But in the meantime:

Since I have been T-Tapping on a regular basis I have noticed that the days that I do the Basic Workout Plus I feel more centered, focused and energetic, and get more accomplished around the house and in my business tasks.  The workout feels very energizing and revitalizing to my spine, I love all the twisting actions.  I have also noticed that the flexibility in my right arm is increasing.  In the past I could only barely hold it behind my back at my waist before feeling pain, now I can hold it slightly above my waist!

JENNIFER SHERMAN

The first week I was very good, I managed to w/o every day, Jan 4 to Jan 9.  Then I started a new job and I have been working from 7 to 5, coming home exhausted and have not been able to work out.  I have been feeling so good though I suffer from a bi-polar disorder and I find that working out really does help me.  I went snow shoeing on January 15 - great workout but hard to keep my form!!!  But I am working on it.

My measurements have not changed enough to be noticeable but hopefully I will be able to work out more this week.

I am so excited that in two weeks, T-Tapp has given me such great results! My ultimate goal is to lose 3 dress sizes, and I feel now that I will lose 2 dress sizes by the end of this contest! When I announced my inch loss to my husband, he was flabbergastered. He's seen me T-Tapp consistently, but also has seen me eat my dessert, too! It's amazing to still maintain my regular diet and T-Tapp to shrink my body. I feel wonderful!

My name is Jenny Mayer and I have done pretty well in the first two weeks of the 60-Day Challenge.  I was able to have a session with one of Teresa's T-Tapp trainers, Annette Kunde, the first weekend after starting the challenge.  She gave me a lot of great tips!  In the first two weeks, I have lost 6 lbs. and 14 inches, and have had several wonderful changes take place!  I am excited to see what the next 6 weeks have in store for me!

The changes I have seen thus far with T-Tapp have surpassed any results I have had from a medication I was put on 1 year ago for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).  I have struggled for years with my weight, but it has gotten out of hand since having my 3 children, within a 4 1/2 year period.  I have also had my muscle mass increase, making for a very bulky and heavy body (Both of these factors due to the PCOS).  I have also had bouts with depression over the years as well.  And the exhaustion!  I would get out of bed and feel like I had only slept a few hours.  So, with that...

Since starting this challenge 2 weeks ago, I have noticed that my mood has gotten better, I sleep better and wake up with more energy.  I feel more relaxed and in control of my emotions.  I also was hindered by my TM (which is usually long, heavy, and painful) about 5 days after starting this challenge.  But, to my surprise, my TM was cut short by 2 days and I only had minor cramps and a lighter flow.  This is wonderful after having 25 years of terrible cycles!

I also have a hip/tailbone issue since delivering one of my children that bothers me daily.  It isn't completely pain free, but it is much more manageable.  I am sure this will continue to improve with time.  My knees are much better, having been VERY painful due to the excess weight and years of volleyball abuse.  The pain is decreased significantly and I am able to get up from a kneeling position without feeling like my knees are going to give out!  I am starting to feel closer to my age of 37 instead of 97!  I am very motivated by my results so far and look forward to the new me!

Every part of me thanks you,

Jenny Mayer

During the first few weeks of the contest I noticed my skin smooth in appearance, my legs looked more tone and smaller to me. And I noticed a change in the way my pants fit. They fit looser in the legs, though tighter in the waist. I keep telling my self that it is because my butt has seemed to lift or it is just the fat shift. Energy is always better on the days that I Tapp.

I'm very much an apple shape.  My arms are "normal".  My legs are normal.  But my belly is large.  That's why it's not a surprise that most of my loss was in the waist.  I did notice my pants fit a little better.  Hopefully I can cut back on eating like I need to and can lose even more before the contest ends.

I was unable to do any workouts during the first week because my dad was at UVA having throat cancer surgery.   I have done MORE for 9 out of the last 10 days.  I was a little disappointed in the lack of inch loss because my clothes are fitting so much better that I was sure I had lost more inches.  There are no words to describe how I'm feeling though.  MORE is the best DVD ever created.  As a MORE to lose gal, my muscle awareness has increased so much, my energy levels are soaring and for once in my life--I look forward to exercising!  I really see MORE as my ticket to being healthy--finally!

I don't have serious health issues, but I am human and do cause my self a lot more pain than necessary.  When I started my upper and lower back were in a great deal pain.  It hurt to pop my back, and when I did pop my back it was a chorus of pop rocks.  I could sit up straight and crack my back up to 8-10 times, which isn't happy.  My neck hurt constantly, due to a not-friendly pillow (which has gone to the wind and happily replaced) and not sleeping well.    Within 4 days (I began on the 4th, my first time back in a year) my back and neck have ceased hurting.  I also sleep through the night-which I am sooo grateful for!!  I have gained about an inch in my height - due to proper alignment in my posture and I don't shuffle my feet any more!!  (Melynda is so happy that TTAPP has given me the knowledge of walking in proper alignment!  she hates when I shuffle).  I am so thrilled about the wonderful things that T-TAPP is doing for me!!!  I am so grateful!!!!  Thank you!!!

I have gotten really busy; so have only been able to do BW+ 6 times.  I cannot believe the results in only 6 workouts.  (I have also have walked a couple of times and have done Step Away the Inches a few times.

The first week I had nausea when I was doing the PBS, and so had to stop
and walk around awhile.  But I always went back to it and made it through.

I have yet to do a full workout.  I am trying to focus on correct form, so only get through about 4 reps on each exercise (except the PBS.  I make sure I do the whole PBS routine.)

I haven't lost that many inches, but am reshaping so much that it is noticeably.  I have already had someone ask me what I am doing to lose weight, but I have only lost 2 pounds in the 2 weeks.

The first few days after starting T-Tapp, I had almost constant indigestion and reflux, but tried to power-through and not take anything for it.  I didn't want to add more toxins to my body when I was working out so hard to get rid of them.  I just figured it was the T-Tapp normalizing things.  And now I am fine.

My posture is improving and I am feeling less frumpy.

I did a 14-day bootcamp of beginner rehab. I'm back into my tens, which were too tight at the waist from the 12s I had been wearing. I feel so good after working out. It gives me so much more energy for the day. The first few days I felt my body detoxing. I don't feel bloated like I did.

I gave blood on 1/7, and my blood pressure was good. Iron levels good. I was not worn out from donating blood at all. I worked out the next day, no problem. I can get through the workout much easier than I could on day one. I'm bobbling less. Spider veins are fading some.

My measurements are not very significant--I was sick for the first week of the contest! I have been concentrating on persevering with doing something--whether it is only PBS and brushing/alfalfa/PG spray, or the full-up BWO+ with brushing (a.m., p.m.), PBS (a.m., p.m.)--every day. Even with the small amount that I have accomplished to date, I feel taller and more pulled together with regards to my muscles; I do not feel like a bowl of pudding when I sit or walk. My general health has been odd, but I don't think that is due to T-Tapp. I think I've picked up some of the illness going around at work! My allergies have kicked in and I have fibromyalgia achiness in my muscles. T-Tapp does help with heating me up so that some of the achiness dissipates.

I hope to have a better picture of my progress on the next check in. I'm not concerned about winning the contest though; this was a way to get me started and motivated to continue. I know that once I get T-Tapp worked into my routine, I'll be healthier and more slender in no time.

The first week I suffered from a slight cold and some horrible PMS. I only did the Total Workout 2 times (from Tues. to Tues.) and jogged 2 miles on the treadmill once. The second week I felt much better and did 3 1/2 Total body workouts and 5 days on the treadmill 2 miles each.  I was feeling pretty sluggish from the holidays but T-Tapp always snaps me back into shape. I hadn't worked out in more than a week prior to the contest and I was having back trouble so badly I couldn't sleep. Since starting T-Tapp again my back is good a new and I sleep like a baby. I also had a pretty bad acne flare up but with the great lymphatic pumping of T-Tapp my face is crystal clear. I look forward to the rest of the contest and more inch loss!

Okay, so I'm a little disappointed in the measurements, BUT they aren't accurate since my TOM started today and I always gain about 5 pounds of puffiness! I didn't workout the whole month of December, and before that I had been doing BWO+ or MORE or one of the step tapes. I haven’t done the whole Tempo tape since I don't know when. So I decided the contest was perfect to get me committed to doing it. Let me tell you that that the first couple of times I did it, I wanted to puke! I was so nauseated, and I had to stop the tape three or four times to get my heart rate out of the extreme zone!   Now, the great part:   I've done Tempo 7 times as of the 18th, and I'm able to do the whole thing straight through non-stop! I have more energy, and I LOVE how quickly my muscles are getting rock hard! At least once a day I flex my arm and feel my bicep. Ha! I can really feel my legs and butt tighten as I go up stairs. I am able to hold my stomach in and actually feel the muscles. All this in 2 weeks! I think I'm sleeping better, and am able to wake up easier in the mornings. Did I mention how tight and great my muscles feel in just 2 WEEKS?   Under all this flab is one tight toned body. GO FLAB GO! Thanks Teresa!(and you too Kitty!)

P.S. Just think of the dramatic changes the people on the biggest looser would have had with T-Tapp. The problem is it would they have taken 1/2 as long, and they wouldn't spend the whole day working out! That's not teaching them how to succeed on their own. Sorry, off my box. Thank again!

During the first week of the T-Tapp Contest I noticed I had more energy.  I like the fact that the WO I chose is short. I am doing the BWO+ and nothing else but the walking I do for my job (about 20,000 steps a day).  I consider the walking part of my normal life...the T-Tapp is the real exercise and the real thing responsible for my energy and the subtle changes noted above, after two weeks.

I haven't changed anything else in my lifestyle and I am very happy that things are starting to change, I am feeling very optimistic.   Virtually 15 minutes and I am done for the day...not too much to ask.

So, how do I feel???? Let me tell you, I feel excited.  I'm going through this for the second time around, a few years ago, after my third child was born, I tapped my way down to a size 14/12, I've only been below a 14 once in my life, at around age 22, I was barely eating anything, and obsessively exercising at the time, very, very unhealthy.   And ever since the birth of my first child, 11 years ago, I've been struggling with my weight.

Flash forward to after the birth of my third child, when I discovered T- Tapp.  I bought it, I did it and it worked, better than anything had ever worked before. I was a slow loser, then hit a plateau, I was well on my way into a size 12, kind of in between a 12 and a 14. I hit a major plateau, but kept on tapping.

I was just recently diagnosed as having Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, or PCOS.  I became anemic and couldn't exercise, I could barely make it through the day most days.  The PCOS caused me to be insulin resistant, which makes it very difficult to lose and keep off lost weight!  Well, It took a long time to get diagnosed, and in that time I gained back 2 sizes, up to a 16.  I've begun treatment by a holistic NP, and the contest timing was perfect timing for me to give this a second try!

After taking iron for 2 months I soon had enough energy to Tapp, so I committed to doing basic plus for these 60 days.  My biggest fear was that because of the PCOS, maybe this wouldn't work for me, but boy was I wrong!  I am so happy to have lost 10 (!!!) inches in 14 days...I feel better, I feel stronger, and I love T-Tapp!!!!

During the first 2 weeks of the T-Tapp contest I noticed a number of things.  After the first week I noticed a definite increase in energy, even though I had quite a few late nights, I still had energy to do numerous things in the evening after putting in a long day at work.  After two weeks I also noticed loss of inches.  Some of my clothes that were starting to get a little tight seemed to fit better and I even squeezed into a pair of jeans that I hadn't worn for a while, and after measuring I realized why, I had lost an amazing 6.5 inches with only doing the Basic Plus work out (and I even missed a few days).  I have been having a lot of pain on the bottom of my foot and the other day I noticed that the pain was not as intense.  T-Tapp is an amazing exercise and wellness program.

My name is Lisa Kavanagh I started tapping in May of 2004.  After the first two weeks of tapping I felt an enormous difference in my body.  I couldn't believe how much taller I would stand.  My posture felt so good that I didn't want to ever stop tapping even just for that effect that it was having!  I also had been experiencing horrible cramps during my menstrual cycle, but my first period after starting tapping I barely even notice that I was going through it!

Since the beginning of the 60-day contest I have lost a total of 8 inches!  I feel really good about that considering I have entered the total workout category and I rarely make it all the way through the Total Workout!

Progress report, 01/18/05:  Yesterday, I just finished up a 14-day boot camp alternating between “T-Tapp to Tempo” and “Tempo Intermediate.”  I feel like my muscles are still pretty swollen, but I do have a 2.75-inch loss so far, and I think this will be even greater once my body recovers from the boot camp.  The most remarkable thing, though, has been that I actually lost 8 pounds during the past 14 days (from 155 down to 147), and I am absolutely thrilled about that.  I have been at 155 for quite a while, and it is great to finally see the scale moving in the other direction.  I have been following Teresa’s GM/MM plan with 2 days on and 1 day off since the beginning of the contest.  I have also been brushing every day, and I take about four capsules of Teresa’s alfalfa each day. The absolute best benefit so far has been an improvement in my mood, sleep, and energy level.  I have struggled with mild depression for as long as I can remember, and I also suffer from terrible insomnia.  Since I have so much trouble sleeping at night, I never have any energy during the day, and all I want to do is sleep.  I saw an tremendous improvement upon beginning my boot camp.  The mood elevation is always instantaneous after my exercise, and the good mood continues throughout the day.  I am no longer constantly cranky, and I know that I am a better wife and mother because of that.  My circadian rhythm has fallen into a normal pattern, and I am finally able to sleep at night (probably because I am so exhausted from Teresa!) for more than 3 hours at a time, which has given me the energy I need the following day.  I work from home on production, and my productivity these past two weeks has almost doubled, which has been amazing to me.  I always feel so much better when I T-Tapp.  My body responds to this program in many, many positive ways.

In two weeks I have done 10 BWO+ and 7 Step Away the Inches. Before I started I would take a 2 hour nap around 2 -3pm and go to bed at 10 - 11pm wake up at 7am. The biggest change I have noticed is that I no longer need that 2 hour nap. Whenever 2pm would come around I would get so tired that I wouldn't be able to think straight. Now 2 pm comes and I do feel a little fatigued but it isn't anywhere near as debilitating as before. Also my clothes are starting to feel loose, in particular my jeans. I am now catching myself having to pull them up, when before they were on the tight side. Overall I believe in T-TAPP and can't wait to see the end results.

In the last couple weeks, I’ve been consistently T-Tapping.  Ok, that might not sound like a wonderful achievement, but in my life it is.  No excuses are being used or accepted, and I’m enjoying it!  I’m also not putting myself down if I can’t T-Tapp, I just make T-Tapp the next day.  It’s like there’s no worries, no “oh, my goodness I have to Tapp!”; just the knowledge that I will.  Hopefully the start of some healthy thinking, and the next 46 days will solidify it. Physically I’ve noticed that I sit, stand, and walk straighter.  Before the contest, I would find myself slouching at the computer and have to make myself sit straighter… only to be slouching again within minutes.  Considering that I work in front of a computer for 9 hours, 5 days a week; that ain’t good.  I did get into the habit of checking myself, and attempting to sit straight.  But, over the last two weeks, almost every time I check – I’m already straight!!  I might be leaning forward, but I’m not slouching!!  And my back isn’t sore by the end of the day. I have a 7-month-old daughter, so I am always tired.  I get up at least twice a night to pat her back, sometimes give her the pacifier and back to bed I go.  Unfortunately I don’t go to bed soon enough, and she’s up early.  But I’ve been finding more energy lately, considering the only change is T-Tapp, that’s got to be it! I’ve been doing the BWO+ and occasionally Step Away the Inches (only 3 times over the last 2 weeks).  My goal is to workout 4 days in a row and take the fifth day off.  It hasn’t worked out that way, but I’m not far off.  I have been taking alfalfa and B+; but not consistently.  I was wearing a tight 16, now I’m a slightly tight 14.  No way I could fit into a size 12, last week my size 12 skirt would go past my thighs; this week it goes past my thighs!!  But got stuck below my butt – I’m happy with that… soon enough it’ll conquer my butt.

I had been sick with a nasty, bad case of bronchitis that was caught on a flight during Thanksgiving and hadn't tapped for at least 6 weeks.  When the contest started I made a commitment that every workout would be done with all of my heart, soul, and mind.... Nothing half-hearted because I knew that T-Tapp would deliver if I went to my max with the best form possible.  The soreness has been incredible but worth every ache.  I am elated and thrilled to have lost 6 1/2 in. in two weeks.  I am 64 and even though I entered the Total Workout category it took the first week to work back up to being able to do the whole workout.

My sleep has been light with a lot of insomnia and early waking the last year.  Now it is deep, restful and refreshing.  I have more energy and am much more productive.  Thanks so much, Teresa.  You have changed and are changing my life!

It has been two weeks since the start of the contest and I have not been as faithful as I should have been to the program. I have only done basic+ about 7 times in the last 14 days.

And had decided when I got your e-mail to send in the measurements that I might as well give up because I had not done that much. But I decided to measure anyway, and WOW I could not believe it. I mean I measured 3 times to make sure and yes it was the same each time 6 1/4 inches lost.

All of this and only 7 workouts. I truly would not believe it if I did not see it for my on eyes. It is fantastic. I cannot wait to see what will happen in the next two weeks. Thank you all for being dedicated to helping us find a better way of life: a healthier way of life.

I would  like to add that I have not been dieting at all these two weeks.

Grand total of 4.75 inches lost in 2 weeks.

**Note that I also measured my ribcage and lost an additional .5" there as well.  And if my body fat scale is even close to accurate, I have lost a couple of pounds of fat and gained a pound or so of muscle.

Prior to starting the contest I had been sedentary for longer than I care to admit.  Therefore, I started with a 4-day boot camp (all I could handle!) and then went to a 2 days on/1 day off schedule, where one of the "on" days was the total workout and one was B+ and/or STEP AWAY THE INCHES.  I was totally surprised to see the inch loss because I wasn't really noticing anything yet.  It was a good motivator to keep going!

Within the first few days of starting the contest I was sleeping better at night - much deeper and more soundly.  I was waking naturally and feeling refreshed, instead of sleeping late and waking groggy.  My mood and energy levels improved dramatically - they went through the roof!  My skin, which is so covered in acne that it has recently reminded me of my hormonal teenage years, improved dramatically.  My unhealthy cravings for sugar and other junk foods have diminished and I now crave healthy foods - really!  There is nothing like the cravings you get from working out.  All 3 of my kids were sick during the first 2 weeks, and while I would like to say that T-Tapp prevented me from getting sick I can't.    I am the last to get it, but I also think I am having the easiest and shortest time of it and, knowing my history, I do credit T-Tapp for that.

As I mentioned in my e-mail yesterday, I didn't get to start right away on the 4th - I'm a slow starter, LOL!!  But not as slow as I mentioned in my earlier e-mail.  (My workout schedule is below.)  I didn't mean to confuse you, I understand the last day of the contest is March 4.  I hold no fantasies that I'll win this contest - my winnings will be a better body & healthier ME!  But this contest does keep me motivated.

My progress to date is that I'm sleeping better.  I usually wake up often during the night but eventually fall back to sleep.  Now I'm sleeping for at least 5 hours straight.  I notice that my internal thermometer runs "hotter."   We live in an old farmhouse that tends to be drafty.  I only use a sheet at night!

My clothes still fit the same, but I swear my cellulite is smoother!  Not gone, but smoother.

I've always had a minor sinus problem.  Sudafed used to take the edge off it.  I haven't been able to take that in about 6 years due to my high blood pressure.  Well, since doing PBS every day since the 4th, my sinuses are always "open".  I'm not slightly stuffy.  I don't have any sinus pressure.  I haven't taken any ibuprofen (except the after the first day of doing beginner/rehab slow - the inside of my thighs really ached that day!).

I've been keeping a calendar/journal of sorts since I sent in my pictures. I started doing PBS everyday starting on the 4th.  Then I did Beginner/Rehab on 01/09/05, 01/11/05, 01/13/05 and every day since, with 01/18/05 being the 6th day of a 10-day boot camp.

Total Inch Loss                       6 3/4"

It's only been two weeks?  I feel as though my body is going through so many changes-most noticeably in the lower abdomen (YEAH)!  I can actually feel muscle in my arms and tummy instead of just, well, fat.  My schedule thus far has been to alternate between the T-Tapp Total Workout and the Basic Plus Workout each day, taking one day off each week.  Some days I wanted to work out more.  But, I have noticed that I have a tendency to over train or even add inches when I work out too much.  So, it has taken a little discipline to workout this little (and this much)!  I have tried to eat healthier, but have only actually eaten God Made one day in these two weeks.  I have lost four pounds.

I was a little apprehensive about starting the contest, because this is a very demanding time for me at school (I am working on a PhD).  However, I have found that working out actually gives me more energy.  It doesn't wear me out.  I may have to drag myself through first five or ten minutes of the workout.  But then something snaps.  And, I suddenly find myself wanting to do more!

The T-Tapp Total Workout originally appealed to me because of its "Beginner/Rehab" title.  I was desperate to find an exercise program that would allow me to rehabilitate a knee injury.  I have been to five different physical therapists on two continents in four cities.  None of them concurred with each other in terms of the appropriate therapy (of course!).  The only thing they seemed to agree upon was that I couldn't exercise like I wanted.

I was given the choice of surgery or continuing physical therapy.  Surgery, they assured me would entail developing arthritis in the next 10 or 20 years.  But, they never quite concurred on which physical therapy exercises were appropriate.  One doctor commented that the exercises prescribed by another were "like pouring gasoline on a fire."  So, my knee pain continued.  In fact, one leg began to swell while the other atrophied-not a pretty sight!  One leg was almost an inch bigger than the other.

Worse yet, the pounds were creeping up as I struggled to find an exercise that I could do without worsening my injury.  I had almost given up on the idea of ever living without knee pain.  My student lifestyle, which involves quite a bit of sitting, also exacerbated my condition oddly enough.

T-Tapp has left me pain-free!  The workouts and brushing about once a day have helped even out my legs (only 1/4" difference)!  The most valuable part of the workout is likely simply basic form tips on how to walk and stand.  Applying these techniques has worked like a dream.

PAT KIMPTON

I got a late start to my TTAPP sessions so my measurements have not really changed in the 2 weeks since the contest started, but I am about to complete my T-TAPP More boot camp (which I NEVER thought I’d get through!) but with the help of my trainer Jeannie Zimet, I’m really starting to feel like this is going to be a success for me. The exercises are getting easier to remember (if not easier to do- each time I think I’ve got and exercise down, Jeannie challenges me to do it better, do it longer, do it right) and I have a lot more energy. As a ‘person of size’ it’s very easy for me to become discouraged or feel like it will take forever to see any benefits, but with T-TAPP More I am actually very encouraged, which motivates me to continue.

I can feel the toning of muscles even though it is under a layer of flab. This is one of the things I enjoy about tapping.  The toning is obvious in a short period of time.  My slacks are looser, but I have been afraid to try the size down.  I do have a pair of jeans in my beginning size that I couldn't zip up, but now zip and have room.

Instead of reporting feeling better, I will have to say that I feel successful because I went through several days of feeling ill!  This has happened to me before.  At the one-week mark I started having an upset stomach and a really bloated feeling.  It lasted for about 4 days, but I know it was my body detoxing.  To me the ill feeling was a good sign.  I am much better now and find myself craving exercise.

All of this happened with 7 BW+, 1 STEP AWAY THE INCHES, and a 30 min walk and no real change in eating habits.  I am very pleased.

Major changes…the workout is so short that I don't feel like I am "stressing out"; therefore I tend to be uncertain that I am doing all that I am suppose to do even though I am following the MORE tape. During the exercising I just pour sweat but I tend to be under the impression that unless I am working-out for 30 minutes to an hour…no change would be effectuated in my body. I am finding this to NOT be true and, frankly, I'm NOT missing having to go from machine to machine.

I have had the strangest changes. I've reverted to doing the workout the first thing in the mornings because I need the jolt of energy to begin the day. I have the Step Away the Inches on of being stronger and more "in line. After the morning workout I feel my mood lift. I "feel" stronger and have an energy burst to get my day moving.

I was very surprised to see that I had lost so many inches when we measured at the 2-week mark.  It is hard for me to see it, but others have made comments, so I am sure that it is true, and my clothes are feeling roomier, which I like. I haven't been the best on sticking to my eating program, so the results are definitely achieved through T-Tapp. I have been doing the program regularly and I feel that I am tightening and trimming up.  When I look in the mirror, I DO see differences - mostly in my trouble areas, which are my waist and bra line/bust.  I am definitely feeling more flexible and I notice that my posture is better, which is important to me, as my posture isn't the best.  I also feel that my workouts are improving and that I am becoming more efficient in them.  I am better able to focus in on the details of the workout, which definitely improves results.  One of the most important discoveries is that when I eat starches, which tend to make me feel fatigued, a quick set of Hoe Downs brings my energy level back up and stops me from wishing that I could take a nap.  PBS gets me going in the morning and makes getting out of bed and moving much easier. I am looking forward to seeing what the next 6 weeks bring with consistent commitment on my part.

Total Inch Loss – 4 inches!

I have been doing either a total workout or basic plus every other day for the past two weeks.  Besides inch loss, I notice that my stamina is increasing and that I can complete more of the reps (on moves that I dread, like puppet pulls).  I'm working carefully on my form, and the tips on Intermediate Tempo tape have really been helpful (like keeping the back foot straight forward during lunges). Also, everything is firmer, the cellulite less spongy, and I've had a fat shift towards the middle of my body--a little scary, but I know it's temporary!  I'm not dieting--in fact I've had pizza, red wine and, every day, chocolate.

The best thing I can say about T-Tapp is that I have NO MORE BACK PAIN and in my opinion that is something to jump up and down about!  It didn't take the full two weeks for my back to feel better either.  It felt better after the very first workout.  A few days into it my muscles were sore, but my back had never felt better.  I am no longer sore after doing the workout, now that I'm building up strength in my muscles.

I've always battled depression.  Last winter I wound up having to go on anti-depressants for the second time in my life.  I stayed on them a few months and fortunately was able to stop.  I was starting to feel like I might need to go back on them again right before the holidays.  I told my husband that I would like to treat the depression with exercise before I go the medication route again.  I am happy to say, I feel great in 2005!   T-Tapp has uplifted me (in more ways than one).  I have energy!  I just feel better overall!  I can't wait to see how I feel at the end of two months if it feels this great after just two weeks.

After a 14-day boot camp, my strength from prior tapping has been restored.  I am much stronger, have so much more stamina and I usually suffer with daily headaches that have diminished to almost unnoticeable.

When I started the 14 day bootcamp, I had not been tapping regularly for at least three weeks so I had to start again with Basic Plus and now have moved on to TTAPP Tempo and several days a week I am able to complete Tempo Intermediate.  That is one of the big changes for me is the increased strength.

Oh and how can I forget!  I have been tapping since February of 2004 and I have been hearing the "tighten your lats" thing for a year, but I did not really know how to tighten them until the video download from Teresa and Jill.  That video and teleconference was incredibly helpful to me.

I have been doing TTAPP Total Tempo, Step it to the Max, TTAPP Intermediate

Even though there is not a dramatic inch loss, I can definitely see more cuts in my forearms, and a little more definition in my upper arms.  My pants are fitting looser in the waist, hips and thighs.  It must be the fat shift or something, but my shirts also feel like they fit different around my mid section.

I am calmer and thinking clearer.  After the first few days of my Beg/Rehab bootcamp, my back pain that I woke up with every morning was for the most part gone.  I also find that I look forward to working out every morning - even if I do have to get up at 3:30 a.m. to get my workout in before I have to be to work. Don't know what draws me to the TV and DVD - whether it's Teresa's convincing "Yes you can" or the fear of Sarge Carol getting a hold of me if I don't workout.

It is kind of depressing that the inch loss isn't greater, but I know deep down that if I keep up slow and steady eventually the inch loss will come.

Keep up all your hard work, and thanks for all you are doing for each and every one of us.  I truly appreciate all your efforts!!!!

The significant loss is the one-inch in my abs, so my stomach looks flatter.  I have been sick with a cold for the last week, so have only t-tapped twice in the week, whereas I managed to do 5 in the first week, so that probably accounts for the results not being as good as they could be.  The main thing that I notice with T-Tapp, is a sense of very great well-being, moods elevated, and an evening out of my hunger.

During the first week of the contest, it was difficult to get through the workout without having to stop and be totally exhausted by the completion. But as each day progressed, I was able to complete all the reps without stopping. Also, I felt stronger each day and more energetic. Around the 5th day, I felt like I had a breakthrough; a noticeable increase in energy. I don't feel as tired as I used to, even throughout the day.

At the end of the second week, I am starting to feel better about myself and how I look as well as how I feel. I am even starting to feel sexy again. A waistline is just starting to appear, which is saying a lot since my whole body is shaped like a barrel. Note my measurements.

This is Suzy (a.k.a. Imready2change on forums) Hubby Bill and I are taking part in the contest together, in the MORE category.

I was afraid to measure today.  I guess I missed that part of the contest rules.....don't know how it happened....must be my age!  lol  I am thankful you emailed a reminder, because I am MORE pumped up than ever now that I've seen our two week results.  (I've always been a slow loser.... probably because I've compromised on form with the BEG/Rehab tape, since I'm a bigger girl)

I've been documenting everything online and on my computer for this contest.  So when Bill and I measured this morning it was easy to edit the new measurements in.  I'm sending you two separate emails.  One for Bill's measurements, and one for mine.  I hope you don't mind that I just copied and pasted my own records into this email.

Suzy's Notes on first two weeks:

We measured some area's twice, other area's three times to make sure that we were getting accurate measurements!  The only chant I kept saying during measuring time was "Bill this can't be right....re-do it".  He definately got annoyed with me because he was so happy for me, and has been telling me how much he's seeing changes in my body!

We have worked out pretty consistently these past two weeks, but also have taken a day or two off each week. Bill has missed two times that I worked out, otherwise we've been working out together always.

My inch loss was so surprising to me because I have not dieted at all.  I've done T-Tapp off and on in the past but have not been this disciplined or consistent, and I now know with no doubt that the MORE tape is what I was missing.  It's taught me things that I just wasn't doing on the other Beg/Rehab tape.  Also, the STEP AWAY THE INCHES tape is awesome!!  I feel more of a workout from that tape, than what I get on Elliptical at the gym!!  I have noticed increased energy!  We have been getting up between 4:30am-4: 45am to get our workouts in, in time for Bill to not be late for work.  I was always an afternoon nap person', but haven't napped since working out consistently these past two weeks!!  Also, a definante 'tightening' and 'cinching in' as Teresa calls it, in my abs, waist and chest.  I'm also sleeping MUCH better, as I used to usually wake up a few times throughout the night, and haven't done that at all since working out with T-Tapp consistently.  At work we have stairs, and my knees used to 'pop' or just give out on me, because I have always struggled with bad knee's from years of bicycle race training when I was younger.  MY KNEE'S DON'T GIVE OUT ANYMORE!  And this is all in just TWO WEEKS of the More Tape with adding STEP AWAY THE INCHES!  I'm convinced so much more so now HOW much I LOVE THIS WORKOUT!  My mother in law even asked me if I was losing weight!  (I haven't lost a pound!!)

Well there you have it kitty...my notes and inches for the first two weeks!

Along with this amazing inch loss, I have already noticed other positive effects of T-Tapp in just these past 9 days.  I first noticed the front of my pants feeling a bit looser after just 2 BWO+ and I found that I had already lost about 3/4 of an inch in my abs.  My flexibility feels like it's increasing with each workout and I have more energy.  I also find myself drinking considerably more water than I typically drink and have gone from my regular 6-8 diet cokes per day to 2-3.  Even though I'm not dieting, I find myself choosing food more wisely, as I don't want to ruin the good work that has begun in my body.

Additionally, I've recently been diagnosed with a hormone disorder (PCOS) and I've battled night sweats since the birth of my son 5 years ago.  My night sweats have just about disappeared since starting this program 9 days ago.  I feel stronger and I am already carrying myself differently, less slumpy and more confidently and more in alignment.  I have begun to break out a little bit and the other night I said to my husband, "Yea!!! I'm breaking out!"  Given the surprised look he gave me, I explained that I was happy because it meant that the junk in my body was moving on out.

They say it takes 21 days to firmly establish a habit and I look forward to T-tapping becoming a habit as I push on toward the 60-day mark.  I would already find it very difficult to give up if for some reason I had to, like perhaps a gun to my head.   Thanks for giving us all the opportunity to give a progress report because this news it too exciting to wait to share with you.  Thank-you very much!

Since faithfully doing the BWO+, I do have more energy and I seem to be sleeping better.  I really did not think I had any type of inch loss during this past two weeks, because I seem to not lose very fast, I was T Tapping (without doing a bootcamp) since September (with not being very consistent during the holidays) and had only moved down one pant size.  I do have a large amount of weight to lose, but with T Tapp, I feel my body getting stronger, and I definitely see muscle improvements.  People at work are asking me if I am losing weight, which I have not weighed on the scale yet, but other people are seeing a difference.  Yeah!!  I started the 60 day challenge with a five day bootcamp, and have been doing the BWO+ or Step Away the Inches or walking on the treadmill almost everyday.  Due to my work schedule and my daughter's school schedule, I have missed a couple of days.  This inch loss is a big motivator.  Thanks Kitty and Teresa for this workout challenge, it is what I needed to get moving after the holidays.

Just a few comments from my first 2 weeks - I try to do the routine as soon as I come from work in the evening, before I eat dinner. There were a few days that I really did not feel like doing the routine, but I did it anyway. Afterwards, I felt really good and proud of myself. I found that if I do it at the same time every day, it just becomes part of your daily routine. My wife is a dedicated T-Tapper, so seeing her do it every day also helps!

Before I took these measurements, I looked at myself in the mirror and could tell that I had lost in my stomach/abdominal area; I just didn't think it was going to be as much as it was.

My biggest challenge will be during the first week of February when I am traveling to Brazil on business. I think we have an audiotape of the routine, which I am planning to take.

These are the measurements you asked for.  I did add an extra measurement that I have a problem with.  It is the measurement 3” above my navel.  I started the contest with a measurement of 46.5 and today it was 45.   That is the total in parenthesis.

I started a 14-day boot camp with Beginner Rehab tape.  I did the full tape every other day.  Every other day I did the tape through “Thread the Needle and the Runner’s Stretch.”

In the two weeks I have been doing this I have noticed a huge change in energy.  Before beginning I needed a nap about mid afternoon.   Now it is not needed.

I changed nothing in the way I ate for this first two weeks.  I wanted to see what the changes were possible without the diet change.

I started in size 24W blue jeans and now can wear 22W without anything hanging over the waistband.  Many of my skirts I haven’t been in for over a year now fit comfortably.

Susan Owen, Staefa Switzerland, BWO+ category.

This I am not believing.  I have lost 8.5 inches, and I am the "slowest" of "slow losers".  And the evidence of this was measured by my very skeptical husband.  He said that this would surely never work for me, that nothing would work for me, except eating less.  I have not changed my eating habits in any way at all, at least not consciously, except to quit eating quite as much whole wheat as I was eating before I started the contest, (specifically, I quit eating my standard 166g of whole wheat spaghetti -- before cooking, 166g -- which I used to love to eat every day, and I quit doing this a couple of weeks before starting the contest, I think.)  But, believe me, I have substituted other food for that missing spaghetti!

But this alone would not have brought these results at all.  Even with the 8.5-inch loss, I gained 1 inch in my waist, so I actually lost 9.5 inches from other areas, and gained 1-inch im my waist.  I know that I have a problem getting a good butt tuck, so I am really working on that, as well as the knee bend and outside edge of feet, although my feet do hurt quite a bit (they have always given me problems, at least they are hurting differently now, so I think I might actually be just beginning to build some good muscles in my feet.)

I've been T-Tapping steadily since April 2004, but my story goes farther back than that, as I learned of T-Tapp when I was exposed to body flex, back in 2000.  I always wanted to do T-Tapp, but I had no video player.  I tried to do the exercises that were available to print out, but I was always convinced that I was doing them wrong, and therefore, never was able to get into doing them routinely, and of course, never got results really (at the very first it seemed like I was getting some results, but I wasn't able to progress with it, as I just didn't do it.  I always wanted to, but just couldn't.)

I've always struggled with my weight, as I've been somewhat of a couch potato (computer potato, musician pianist potato, reading potato).  I've always walked faithfully, throughout my life, though.  I could always easily walk 30 min. to an hour a day.  Later on, (5-10 years ago), I could hike for 8 hours a day.  Now, I can do a 2-3 hour hike, depending on whether the terrain is flat or hilly.

I have definitely lost fitness with my weight gain of 61 pounds since 2000, specifically, I weighed 60 Kg in 2000, and now I'm up to 88 Kg.  (To get pounds, multiply Kg by 2.2), I'm 175 cm. (2.54 cm = 1 inch). I'm 45 years old.

At this point, I'm heavier than I've ever been before, but back in 2000, I was at my minimum weight of 60 Kg in my adult life (except for being down to 55 Kg in 1993) Probably, about 65-70 Kg. would be my natural weight (without enough muscles, of course!).  Anyway, at 55-60 Kg, I was below my normal weight, and therefore, I see that my body has sprung back up to compensate.

I know that all the weight things don't matter, except that they are an indicator that something about my body as a machine, was just not right.  Just "out of tune".  Anyway, I am not checking the scale or paying any attention to it at all, (even though my skeptical husband has been after me for years to get on the scale, I've finally gotten to the point where I refuse, and he's actually finally backing off, now that I'm seeing results -- even before I saw results I insisted that he back off, as focusing on weight has brought me nothing but misery.)

I'm just looking at my clothes, the way they fit (which doesn't actually work either, because my clothes have just lied to me!  They told me I wasn't losing anything at all.  The reason my clothes deceived me is because mostly, I just pay attention to my waist, where I gained an inch!)  So my clothes have lied to me (partially anyway), I lost 9.5 inches I didn't even know about.

I am definitely feeling muscular development in my legs, and even my skeptical husband says that I am looking better, overall body shape and posture.
I just simply cannot figure out why this is working all of the sudden.  I have been t-tapping very steadily since last April 2004.  Perhaps my form has improved, or perhaps my muscles have gotten to a certain point where things are beginning to move.  This is a total mystery to me.  Also, proof that this can work even if one doesn't believe it can work for them. Even the 1-nch gain doesn't discourage me at all (not even my skeptical husband) because obviously something is "moving" here.

My husband encourages me to work out every day, but I have explained to him that such does not work, because it is too much on the body.  I would like to do the maximum, but I am not sure what that is.

I'm the slowest of slow losers, so, to all you out there that think this can never work for you, or even those that have been t-tapping for a while and not seeing any results, I just want to tell you that if you stick with it, you will eventually see some results.  I've been t-tapping steadily now since April 2004, started with a 14 day bootcamp, did EOD, and have been pretty faithful, even doing another 4-day boot camp later, and all this didn't do anything at all until now (BUT build strong muscles!!!)

I find that after doing this 14-day boot camp that I have just completed, without missing any days, I experienced times that I was sore, of course, but generally enjoyed t-tapping so much that I was sad for the boot camp to be over.  Now it is already morning here (3 am) and I'm looking forward to my workout, which I hope to start at 6 am, going back to bed first.

I have been sleeping much better lately, I've had problems with insomnia for years and all of the sudden, even though I'm still awake some, I think my insomnia has been reduced by 50-80% (that's just an estimate since I don't keep records on it.)

Any workout advice would be appreciated.  I'm in the BWO+ category, and doing STEP AWAY THE INCHES intensively on the weekends (that means that I do the STEP AWAY THE INCHES exercises to both the instructional and the workout, I walk continuously during the instructional) as I have more time on the weekends, in addition to BWO+ or I do Instructional #1 plus hoe downs (I work 100%).

I do STEP AWAY THE INCHES moves as much as I can work in while walking to work in the morning from the train 5 mins, or at lunch.  I also do additional hoe downs and step lift step together’s since it's on STEP AWAY THE INCHES, I do some 2-3 times a week while waiting for the train, 20 left, 20 right, 20 left, 20 right.  I really feel this in my hips, and hoe downs I really feel in my hips as well.

I'm also practicing walking in alignment all the time and especially up the steps at work (70 steps).  I sometimes catch myself walking and sitting in not very good alignment, so I wonder how much I'm actually doing this correctly.  I just know that I will keep on checking and trying to form new habits (I still often sit leaning too much forward, and I tend to have my head too far back when standing (chin too high).

I also practice putting organs in place (standing up only, since it's in BWO+) as much as I can, when I think about it and when I'm in private (several times a day).  I try to do an additional set of hoe downs every day at lunch, but usually before I eat, but I've now read that after I eat 20-40 minutes would be very effective to offset my eating (although I eat mostly healthy foods, I usually eat too much).  So I'm going to now try to implement more often doing a set of hoedowns after eating, I assume this is ok to do on EOD as well.

I also work on sitting in alignment (I spend all day on a sitting ball).

I'm thrilled that Teresa already wants to see results, and I'm excited about the possibility of producing even more results, could that be possible?

Thanks so much to all, especially Teresa, for sharing this with the world, for being dedicated, for caring about helping people.

At this two-week point, I am noticing things like better fitting jeans and more energy; the usual stuff you expect from Tapping fairly consistently for a couple of weeks. I am also noticing better posture and a less achy back, again pretty typical with “natural chiropractic alignment, (thank you PBS!) But what I hadn’t ever experienced before with Tapping or any other exercise is the increased SERENITY I have been feeling. It’s almost like I am on a mood-elevator or an anti-depressant. My job is very rewarding but it is also very demanding, I teach pre-school to 22 three year old children 40 hours a week. I also have a two year old of my own. It seems I am always around someone who is having a tantrum, but this semester the person having the meltdown isn’t ME! I attribute this solely to Tapping because since my hours have increased at work and my husband’s schedule has changed at law school (he’s home less often) I actually have more stress. And worse eating habits; can you say double cheeseburger and a large fry? However, most days I am sailing through. I am less short with my students, more appreciative of my spouse and best of all more patient with my gorgeous daughter. I even came down with a cold recently and was able to shorten my recovery time to 2 DAYS instead of the week it usually takes me to get going again. It has to be T-Tapp!

My actual workouts have consisted of a lot of BWO+, the STEP AWAY THE INCHES tape and some neighborhood walking while pushing baby in her stroller. I have actually completed the Total workout only ONCE this whole time. I bet I would have had more inch loss had I been more consistent and eaten less junk food (birthday party cup cakes, milkshakes, candy, fast food, Mexican food, pasta – I am such a rebel, I can’t make one good habit without making a bad one too. If I ever manage to eat right and exercise at the same time, I’ll probably end up drinking!!!!)

Thank you Teresa and Kitty for all that you do!

Kitty, Here are my results, although I don't know how accurate they are as I just finished a 14-day boot camp, and have had no time off.  My body feels tighter on the inside, even though it still feels pretty jiggly on the surface. My stamina is better, but I still have a way to go. I really got increased energy to do cleaning and projects around the house that has been neglected for some time. My attitude and emotional health seems better also. Thanks, Sylvia

During the first week of the T-TAPP contest I was not feeling very well (I had a cold) so my official first day of training was on January 13. My second day was on January 18 (yesterday). I have noticed a change in my energy level, in my clothes, in my skin appearance.

Even only after two days of Total Workout, I have lost 5.5 inches and even a few pounds.

By looking at the figures, I know what I need to really concentrate on.  My arms and bust area.

General feeling at the end of two weeks is almost the same, however, I did get over a cold that I had for over 3 weeks.  I have not exercised consistently the past year due to going through a very rough divorce and I got a cold before Christmas.  It was the first time I had been sick in over 2 years, or since I started tapping.  After starting up again it took about a week but I finally got over my cold.  Now others might say that it is because the cold had run it's course, but others who had gotten the same cold around the same time are still sick.  I contribute getting over the cold to T-Tapp.

I prayed for an answer regarding obstacles that have plagued me for too many years.... poor eating habits, inconsistent exercising patterns, foggy thinking and overall mental and physical fitness blahs. I am so grateful to a dear friend who introduced me to T-Tapp.  This program of common sense eating allows me to make a choice on food, not some wacky quick fix that results in long term failure.  In the past two weeks I have awaken to find my true vibrant self, what a wonderful feeling to know that there is a safe and proven method to guide us through health eating and a reasonable exercise program no matter what your current level of fitness. I actually wore jeans this week Yeah   NO ELASTIC WAISTBAND.  !!! I will keep making great progress...I'm a believer.

I was just in shock at the inch loss that I forget the rest.

I have more energy overall, sleeping better, eating less and craving better foods. I'm still tired but doing better than before. My stamina is improving and I can DO more and my head is much clearer, I don't feel like I'm in such a fog.

I do the BWO+ workout nearly everyday and add STEP AWAY THE INCHES or SITTM three days a week.   I seem to have lost everywhere but my bust and hips.  Besides my measurement loss, I’ve also noticed that I'm developing cuts in my upper arms and my collarbone is beginning to show.  YIPPEE!!!  Speaking of cuts, although I haven’t achieved my “six pack” yet there’s definitely indentations in my upper abs where there used to be solid mass.  Not only are my thighs less jiggly but my knee fat is disappearing.

With T-Tapp, my posture has improved tremendously—“shoulders back, tuck that butt”, even when I’m sitting at the computer all day.  I’ve developed more energy and my stress levels are much lower.  Even after a long, hard day at work, I look forward to coming home and doing my T-Tapp workout.  Like Teresa says, “it’s the workout that works.”  Great results in 2 weeks!!

January 18th, 2005- Bill’s comments on what he's noticed in this first two weeks....."I have noticed that my upper body has shrunk and 'feels' tighter.  My pec's are smaller and more firm.  I also have noticed that this workout has made my back feel much better.  I have more flexibility in my back.  I always used to wake up stiff in the morning and that isn't happening anymore.  I have no flexibility at all so this workout is definitely making me feel so much better in the 'stiffness' area.  I am a very big guy and have always worked very physical jobs, and I have noticed such an improvement in my energy and 'brain awakeness'.  I look forward to this workout, which totally surprises me.  Also, I have more 'morning and evening' energy than I used to.   A co-worked yesterday commented that I looked like I was losing weight.  I told him I am losing inches!!

One more thing to note:  I started going to the chiropractor in mid December to help my back.  When I weighed in on his scale, one side of my body carried 15 more pounds than the other.  I think it was last week that I weighed in on his scale again, and this time that same side that was heavier, is now only 5 pounds heavier!  It amazes me how fast this workout helps to get things back into alignment!!  The stretching in the MORE tape feels so good!  ( we originally started working out with T-Tapp in December, but switched to the More tape at the beginning of the challenge)

I love T-Tapp. I have lost major inches off my hard trouble spots. This
doesn't happen for me with any other workout. I feel wonderful. I had
someone mention to me yesterday that my skin looked awesome. All this and I
haven't been faithful to all my workouts. I plan on doing a bootcamp and
add STEP AWAY THE INCHES this week. I look forward to see what the next two weeks will bring.

As you can see, I didn't do too well.  It's my fault and not the exercise routine.  I've been tired lately and I'm gonna blame TOM!  I promise to do better over the next few weeks.  It sounds like some of the other contestants are doing great.
