François Létourneau

I live in Quebec (I am French-speaking). I'm 51 years old and I'm in good health. I have always been a very active person and have played many recreational and outdoor sports including cycling, roller-skating, and skiing.

In my childhood, I always knew that I would study physical education. I was passionate about all sports; I wanted to play all of them. Playing sports occupied all of my free time and gave me a great deal of satisfaction. I always felt full of energy. My underlying reason to try and maintain my health and stay in shape was my father, who died at age 36 of a heart attack.

After completing my course in physical education, I taught high school and younger levels for eight years and, of course, took part in extracurricular activities with young people. My intention was to show people through sports a way to have a good time and keep themselves in good health and maintain this through their life.

I later returned to school to study dental surgery. I continued to be very physically active which allowed me to eliminate stress. I was a dentist for 12 years, and oriented my practice toward prevention and specialized in the elimination of mercury (it is a poison and stays forever in our mouths) and to detoxify people, in order to have overall optimal health.

Well, in spite of my positive attitude and my physical condition, stress caught up with me. In 1999, after a period of soul searching, I made the decision to redirect my life. Now I use all the knowledge acquired during my studies as a consultant and therapist.

I had the pleasure of meeting Teresa Tapp at one of her speaking engagements for the benefits of weighted shoes, in Quebec. I was immediately impressed by the T-Tapp concept.

Teresa's exercise system is truly effective and simple for all people to do, no matter what age and physical condition. People with serious medical conditions can use this system to improve their health and athletes can see their performances improve.

I have thus chosen to become a certified trainer to help others find understanding in the concept of treating your body like a machine. With the passion I have had for physical education all my life and want to teach people how to fit exercise in who don't have the time. The impressive results that I have gotten in so little time have caused me to lose 2 inches in my hips and improved my muscle density and flexibility. Most importantly, the well being I have achieved with T-Tapp has given me the ability to feel as vigorous and active, at 51 years old, as I remember feeling in my twenties.
