Certified T-Tapp Trainer
I am a Dallas based Certified T-Tapp Trainer and a mother of two. I am also certified by the Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research as a Physical Fitness Specialist. My background as a former fashion model gave me first-hand experience of the critical demands the modeling industry has to be thin. The fashion industry and the media have perpetuated that "thinness" is the ideal body image. Those demands can create a warped self-image. I lived my life daily by the scale and sometimes weighed myself several times a day in fear of gaining an ounce or I'd be "fat". I was 5'10", weighed 119 lbs, and survived on apples and Diet Dr. Pepper for days on end to get ready for a show. How ridiculous was that! I knew I couldn't live like that forever. Thus began my quest to discover healthy ways to eat real food without gaining weight, as well as learning to free myself of a distorted body image.
Our bodies experience metabolic and hormonal shifts at various stages in life. It was during one of those times at the age of 32 that I gained about 18 pounds in 3 months. For the first time in my life I was faced with "having" to lose real weight. For over a year I spent 6 days a week in the gym doing cardio, weight, weight-loss supplements, even restricting calories, and still the pounds wouldn't bulge. I was to the point of frustration when I stumbled across T-Tapp. The workout results sounded too good to be true. I was willing to give T-Tapp a try, but not willing to invest money into the program just yet. So I tried the "Free Trial" exercises on the website. At the end of 10 days, I lost 1¼ inch off each thigh with Awesome Legs and 1 inch off my abdomen with Organs In Place. If just 2 moves could warrant inch loss imagine what the whole workout could do. So, I committed and purchased the T-Tapp Total Workout. Within 2 weeks, I went from a size 10 back to a size 6! Needless to say, I became a "T-Tapp groupie" and attended every T-Tapp event/clinic available. Within 6 months I knew that I wanted to be a trainer and share this workout with as many people as possible.
The T-Tapp workout uses linear alignment to maximize both strength and flexibility. With this program the stronger you become the more you are able to maintain better form, which will allow you to get better results. This means the stronger you are with T-Tapp the less you have to workout. T-Tapp literally gives everyone, regardless of their age or fitness levels, the ability to transform their bodies and live healthy lifestyles. We all want to be fit, but "life gets in the way", whether its work schedules, social demands, or family responsibilities, there's just too little time and not enough energy to workout. The beauty of T-Tapp is that once you reach your goal weight or size, you only need to T-Tapp twice a week to maintain your results.
My journey has been one of enlightenment on the awesome functionality of the human body. A good life is all about optimal body functioning. My goal as a T-Tapp Trainer is to motivate, inspire, and teach others to be their best by loving their bodies, staying strong, and as healthy as they can be.
