Sharon Ratledge
North Carolina
Certified T-Tapp Trainer
sharon@t-tapp.com

Hi! My name is Sharon Ratledge. I am a 43 year old wife and mother of two from Clemmons, NC. I am an IFPA certified personal trainer. In addition to personal training, I currently own and manage Nautilus of Clemmons Health and Fitness Forum, a small fitness facility in my home town.

I always considered myself to be somewhat chunky throughout childhood, and when the teenage years hit, I began trying every diet fad that came my way. I would lose 5 to 10 pounds only to gain it back and plus more! As I moved into my twenties, I realized that diet alone was NOT the answer, and I was on a mission to exercise myself into the body I had always dreamed of. I did lots of walking and at home cardio programs combined with various diets. This worked for a while, but the yo-yo dieting wreaked havoc on my metabolism. My exercise programs lacked muscle building so all of my efforts came to a screeching halt. I then got pregnant and gained 30 pounds. After the birth of my first child in September 1992, I discovered weight training and was able to lose most of what I had gained and increase my muscle mass. Six years later, I gained 40 pounds with my second pregnancy. I was 35 years old at this time and it just seemed like my metabolism was slowing down more and more as I got older. Once again, all of my efforts seemed to be in vain. I was desperately seeking the “answer” to my problems via internet when I discovered T-Tapp. I immediately ordered the Beginner/Rehab Total Workout. I was amazed at how quickly I went from size 12 to 6. At that time, I did not understand that “less is more with T-Tapp.” I always felt as if I had to work harder, longer, do more reps - you know, really punish myself to get the body I wanted. I have to confess that I did try a few other workouts from Tae Bo to Pilates.

In June of 2003 an opportunity presented itself and I assumed ownership of Nautilus of Clemmons, became IFPA certified and of course it was back to hours of treadmills and weight lifting. After a while, I started noticing that I was really bulking up, I mean my arms were bigger than my husband’s! Not good! Even though I had a lot of muscle mass, I did not like the way I looked and decided to go back to T-Tapp. I immediately started noticing my muscles debulking, my pants getting bigger, my abs getting flatter and my arms are “cut” nicer than they ever have been. I am in better shape now than I was in high school. My hormones are balancing (the forties through me for a loop!), my back pain is totally gone and I have plenty of energy to balance career, home and family. The best part is with T-Tapp, you can cheat and eat all your favorite foods and still maintain and/or lose. It’s amazing. I thank Teresa because I am now free to enjoy my life without having to spend hours in the gym and depriving myself of all the foods that I love (and believe me, there are a lot of foods that I love!) T-Tapp changed my life forever and that is why I became a T-Tapp trainer. Now that I know that T-Tapp is THE ANSWER, it is my desire to teach others what I have learned and help them reach their goals. This IS the healthy, anti-aging workout we have all been looking for.

If you would like to experience the difference with T-Tapp, I offer private sessions, multi-private sessions, and classes. I can be reached at sharon@t-tapp.com.
