Essay: I did it! This was a very rewarding jump start to a new and better me. I knew TTapp worked as I was introduced to it some years ago with great success, but then life happened and I got lazy. Something about turning 60 and “oh well, I don’t always have to be a size 6”. The problem with that thinking is that the size of my clothing was only one small effect of a more sedentary lifestyle. I didn’t have the energy, the “jump in my step”, and let’s face it, I wasn’t feeling fabulous. Oh, and did I mention sleep??

These past 60 days I have gone from run down to energized. My whole attitude is better. I find myself making plans for the future and envisioning a very active future, not unlike my earlier years. And yes, losing a clothing size is wonderful. I sleep through the night most nights now and my poor Kindle isn’t getting the attention it was previously. I love to read but oh my, I was reading too much! I can make it through the day without thinking about a little nap. I am naturally more aware of what I eat because I am taking better overall care of me. And my wedding ring fits easily again! (I was quoted $500 to re-size my ring so I guess that TTapp has had a positive economic impact for me as well).

This challenge was for me. I knew it was a beginning. I am now into my next 60 day challenge. I will get down one more size to my size 6 and most importantly, I will continue to receive the gifts of this healthy lifestyle change. The TTapp community has been so supportive and motivating. Thanks to the TTapp trainers, and of course, Theresa, for making this all possible!
