Essay:   My T-Tapp Story began many moons ago and I was very lucky to have been able to meet Teresa in person and receiving some valuable tips!
Over the years T-Tapp has helped me slim down on various occasions and over the years I have been doing T-Tapp on and off. After struggling with depression and suffering from burn out, my weight slowly crept up again, and this year 60-day challenge has gotten me back on track:
I counted my steps and made sure to get my 10 000 steps done at least 5 days a week. The workouts I did were: Basic Plus, Step away the inches, Organs in Place/Half Frog and sometimes Awesome Legs. I often also added in some extra steps of Hoe Downs while waiting for the kettle to boil or during an ad break
The first 2 weeks, I lost a total of 15 inches!! Super chuffed, I carried on with my routine, but tried to be even more consistent, but taking measurements after 5 weeks was slightly depressing, as I did not lose as much as I had hoped for. The last 2 weeks of the challenge my life really got hectic, I was presenting a charity I am part of on an Expo in Barcelona and at the same time getting our rental properties ready for Easter (I work in the tourism sector), my workouts were more sporadic and not as regular as I hoped, but I was only sleeping about 6 hours a day and running around like a mad girl.
Still, I did my Basic Plus at least 4 times and every now and again some Hoe Downs.
Today I measured myself and I am very pleased: 27 inches in total!!
I still have a long way to go, but this challenge has made me realize 2 very important things:
1.Count your steps!!
Only since having a pedometer, I have realized how little steps I have been doing on some days! It makes me park the car away further when going to a supermarket, café etc and also welcoming every chance to get in a few extra.
2.Less is MORE!!
Especially the last 2 weeks have been an eye-opener, as I was close to not finishing the challenge because I didn´t get as many W/O ´s in that I hoped for! I am glad I didn´t!!
Thank you Teresa and Team for all your hard work !
