Welcome to the T-Tapp Community! I hope you find everyone here to be as supportive as I have. I’m Marna, and I am proud to call myself one of “Teresa’s girls”.
Like many others, prior to T-Tapping, I had tried nearly every diet and exercise program known to man. So many, in fact, that when I started, my friends sarcastically called T-Tapp the “Flavor of the Week”. When I stuck to it for a month, it then became the “Flavor of the Month”. That was over 2 years ago, and I’m still at it. That’s definitely a record for me! I do it because I enjoy it and it makes me feel better, not because I feel like I have to do it. I’m not saying that other exercises aren’t beneficial. Incorporating other activities into your daily routine certainly adds variety and keeps things interesting. However, if you really want the most bang for your buck, T-Tapp is the way to go.
When I first tried it, I honestly thought T-Tapp was too easy to be effective at all. After all, I used to practically kill myself at the gym, exercising for hours on end. By contrast, the T-Tapp movements seemed far too easy and didn’t make me sweat enough. However, as I continued doing them and tweaking my form, the exercises became harder and I found myself sweating more and more. Each T-Tapp movement works numerous muscles at once. So, I was actually multi-tasking and making more efficient use of my valuable time.
One of the programs I had previously tried before (and failed) was The Fat Flush Plan. This program focuses on maximizing the efficiency of the lymphatic system, by helping to pump it and clean it out using specific eating plans and exercises. When I followed that program to the letter, it really worked well for me and the inches fell off. This told me that I most likely did have a sluggish lymphatic system.
However, I found that program to be so restrictive that I couldn’t follow it 100% of the time. Whenever I strayed even slightly, the weight came back. I would then tell myself that since I blew it a little bit, I had totally failed. So, I might as well really be bad today because I needed to “start over again” tomorrow anyhow. Sound familiar? That’s why that plan did not work for me. I couldn’t handle the mental self-sabotage and punishment which resulted every time I ate something “wrong”. On the other hand, I was convinced that the lymphatic system was the key to losing (and gaining) weight. I was just unsuccessful at executing this method of assisting it. When I heard Teresa speak about how important the lymphatic system is in losing inches, I was immediately intrigued. Then, when I learned that a little bit of “cheating” is allowed, I knew that T-Tapp was for me. No more guilt! Eventually, when I saw the results in my own body, my beliefs were confirmed. At last, a program that made total sense, was effective, and even allowed occasional “cheats” like chocolate and wine! And, as an added bonus, I didn’t have to be tied to the gym and exercise every single day. Now that’s liberation! I finally can have my cake and eat it too!
